  • @canmutemusic

  • that is sooo good you are very talented

  • i think is beautiful;D

  • every thing is beautiful but as a critic i would.say that that wig is horrible where did you get for the garbage dumpester a child can do better then that but as me not the critic

  • Honestly, that dress is amazing!! Where did you get that wig?? :)

  • @Buildabearfan74

Wow thank you, it's actually 3 wigs. I got 2 good quality Godiva wigs from a chap off ebay, who still sells them, though they are a little pricy. I can post you link to them if you like and tell you what colour I got. The third wig is from another shorter one I bought from China, that was nearly the same colour. Check out this brief tutorial photos of mine.

at the cosplay website my nickname there is pink princess, if yout ype Rapunzel then scroll through.

    Thanks from Tracy

  • I just want to say that you did a awesome job on the dress!!!! And your are amazing at sewing!!!!!!!

  • Oh my gosh!!!!!! Pleas please can I have one made just like that??? I love tangled sooo much and am a bigg fan! I'm 15 and am 5'2". I would gladly pay if I could have a dress like that!!!!

    good job!

  • please reply......can you were the wig,outfit

  • @TheRainbowdogs

Hi sorry i'm a little confused by your question, yes it is made to fit me if you watch the whole video.

  • omg! thats awesomeee! do you thing you can tell me what fabrics you used and how u made the corset? i want to make one just like yours :]

  • @aubzz123

Hi if you type my name I.D. Traybuff in the search box, it will come up with all the tutorial parts for this dress. The fabrics use for the bodice were Duchess Satin from my local fabric shop, it was hard trying to find a colour match, no suplliers on the internet here in the uk could come close on the colours, I was very lucky. The organza outer skirt I bought off ebay, I can give you the link for that if you like, if you want to send me a message.

    Thanks very much from Tracy

  • I think this is an absolutely gorgeous piece of costuming work, from the wig to the detail in every aspect of the design. I think maybe the only point, from a purely visual perspective (as I don't think my sewing skills can even compare!) would be to shorten the corset length a little to compensate for the length of the skirt- Because it's calf length, it skews the balance of torso to legs a little. But I am totally blown away by the skill in this, seriously.

  • I love it a lot

  • cool

  • I love you're costume, I think you have talent, and you are awesome, don't be shy really, you don't need to. GOOD JOB!! I wish one day I have a costume like your's =) Hope you read this comment, I watch you're video like 10 times=).And don't listen to bad comments,ok?¿I really think you have an awesome personality .Bye=)Have a nice day=)

  • Amazing costume and wig. Question: did you by any chance or do you know how to make Rapunzel's crown? If so, could you please share how you made the crown? Thanks so much.

  • @Traybuff I was probably wondering if you could put Rapunzel's crown on top of the wig if you would?

  • Oh wow... You know, you should make constumary pieces and sell them on eBay. You could make a ton of money. You did a fantastic job!

  • amazing

  • you should do this for a living

  • How do you make the wig that long? I have wanted a floor length rapunzel wig for years and can never find one

  • wow i like it!

  • Holy shit. That looks so amazing. Great job.

  • @vrivera135

Ok, thanks but could you please repost the comment wihtout the swear word please, there's no need for it. I really do appreciate that you only wanted to praise.

    Tracy

  • cooll

  • can you make me one whats your email ? i love it much would you charge ?

    i love it

  • not to be rude can u speak up next time

  • @dyannacarbajal

HI I have been told this all my life, I have a very little voice, I have always been a little nervous, years ago I couldn't even speak to people as I was to shy. I guess this is just how I born to sound.

  • @Traybuff good for you i think its great that u have the guts to make these videos and i think u have a talent i think u should sell these costumes allot of ppl would pay buckets of cash for such a good costumes

  • @dyannacarbajal

Yes I know, but it's all time consuming, most of them take about 3 months to make, mum is the expert but not a professional and I know a few sewing techniques. Having to work part time as well. I did make a one off pair of Ruby slippers once but again took 6 weeks and I was going crazy wanting to start my next project, but couldn't until I'd made the slippers for someone to buy. I just love to cosplay and dress up for ther movie fairs.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • no one ever braids the end of the wig

*sigh* itd look so much better

  • i,m vrom holland and i love this

  • How did you make that wig?? And what's that sqeeking noise?

  • @agoericke62 Nevermind i found the scource

  • can you make me one ?

  • I'm on my phone, and I'm not 100% sure but I think the end of my comment was cut off. I said: my aunt would probably love to pay for a dress to be made for my cousin. Sorry if my comment wasnt cut off and I posts this one for no reason(:

  • This is just amazing! You did a wonderful job! How long did it take you to create this? I can tell you've put a good bit of effort into it. Do you make things like this for fun or to sell? I haven't watched any other videos from you yet so sorry if my question has been answered in an earlier video. If you do sell them, my little cousin and I absolutely love Tangled (although even though I'm the 13 year old I think I love it more). Anyways, I'm sure my aunt would love to pay for a dress to be m

  • OMG are you Georgia from "Angus thongs and perfect snogging" you sound JUST like her O_O

  • @britishchick666

um i'm not sure who that is, doesn't sound like anything i'd watch personally myself. No ones ever said I sound like anyone inparticular, i'm nearly 30 years old, though I get away with people thinking i'm 18, it's fantatsic. I'm half deaf so I never know what I sound like sometime, I think I have a very high voice, people often say they can't hear me, when i'm talking to them.

Thanks so much for noticing my video.

    From Tracy

  • I love it! TxT

How long dit it take to make it?

  • @Iranaa

Hi, thanks very much as I work part time as well and mum is teaching me it took about 2 and half months to make this one, it was very complicated. As you can see from the other tutorial video parts, we had to make our own lave on the embroidery machine to match and I highlighted every flower on the the lace in silver as on the doll. Few!

  • @Traybuff God you are really amazing!

I wish I could do work like that! :) Can you wear it?

Walking around like rapunzel! That would be a dream to come true :D

I love Mother Gothels dress too :D and of the queen :)

Well I love all the dresses! but here you did an amazing job!

I really can go on with giving positive comments :d

  • @Iranaa

Hi did you see the rest of the video, I do wear it, I was showing it on the mannequin first because I was doing a trial fit for our costume exhibit then. I also wore it in our local carnival at nightime this year, with the crown I made. Though you can only se me for a short time in the video and light wasn't very good. I hope to wear it again soon for our local Christmas festival. I'm mkaing Ariel's dress as you can probably see from my other videos, 3/4's finished now.

    Thanks Tracy

  • @Traybuff I saw you wore it XD Comment too fast :d

And I can't wait to see the full ariel dress! =D

  • @greendope23

To greendrope, that was a very nasty comment, I suppose your hobbies are any better. It's not nice to leave nasty comments about a person your hardly know, how would you lke it. I have now blocked you becuase i'm very upset. These videos are to help other cosplayers with thier work for competitions.

  • and the doll is really pretty (from Rapunzel)

Sun gives what this is not at all -.- "

  • I live in Germany

otherwise I would ask you whether you could give me a cut so that all that great, I'm too stupid for such things, unfortunately I have not here the matters you've all used it, otherwise I would sew my own. Maybe someday you hache orders ready, dan I was your first customer.

    Greetings from Germany

    sorry for my bad english

    :)

  • you did awesome!!!!!!!=)

  • Can you make one and sell it? I would buy it. PLEASE!!!

  • @DisneyTangledFanGirl

I am really sorryn but but we do make them to sell, mum is the expert and I am learning sewing, she did a jack sparrow one to sell as o one off becuase it was very easy to make and not half as time consuming as my costumes. The costumes I chose are usually very complex, this one took about 2 and half months to make. Mum is over the moon though that people think she is that good. I really wolnd't want to hand paint that skirt again took forever.

    Thanks anyway from

    Tracy

  • @Traybuff Oh I really wanted one... Oh well

  • Beautiful!

  • A dress is amazing but the corset is too big

  • @desperadocatmn

no it's not actually it is made to fit me, not the mannequin. I didn't want this one skin tight as the doll, as I wanted some movment, I do try to state that although we try out best to copy it is always down to your own personal choice how you want it.

We had to come up with our own pattern using 2 differnet patterns combined, it is incredible difficult, so please becareful what you say. We are not professional's

  • That's so amazing n___n i really want to cosplay her hehe! ;D

  • AMAZINGGG. you are so talented! everyone says i look like repunzel from tangled so im going as her for halloween XD

  • @LiPgLoSsGaLz

thanks, this is the first time I've copied a doll costume to full size, hard work but worth it. I love looking forward to do making a new dress and new challenge, each costume mum & I make is compleltey different in style.

Please check out my other costume videos and my costume display video at Wem Town Hall sep 2011.

  • WOOW

  • i need that wig .______. is amazing your video really <3

  • @JesusLetitbe

Ok, go to cosplay.com website and type Rapunzel in the search box, you will see lots of poeple dressed as rapunzel.

You need to search through the pages till you find my box, my name there is pink princess. If you click my photo next page loads, click my galleries on the right side of page and you will see all my tutroial costume photos, look for Rapunzel wig folder.

  • @Traybuff Oh thankyou so much ! ill see it :D

  • @JesusLetitbe Hey can you give me the link? it would be easy

  • So COOL! XxRaniiDai

  • where did you get the wig?

  • @AbbeyDawn98 she made it from golden thread! it must have taken forever

  • You really have an amazing talent!!!1!

  • So basically that is amazing!!!

  • it looks really kool and fitted =] which is always nice to see in disney costumes =] iam planning on making a Rapunzel dress at some point after an ariel dress! did u do embelishments by hand?

  • @SuperJacob1989

yes painted by hand very slowly, it you type traybuff in the search box, it will come up with all my videos. Rapunzel costume tutroial is in six parts, I explain the paints I used in part 1.

It is very hard trying to tailor a garment, I do a mock up then mum draws lines and alteration marks on the pieces, saying which needs to be taken in or out, patterns are a general size but never made to fit your exact measurements and body position, so yes it is very hard indeed.

  • beautiful!! :)

  • cool where did you get the wig

  • Jeururuir

  • NICE JOB!!!

  • can you make me one for hallooweeeeeeeeeennn!?

  • BLAH i wish I could sew I would love to cosplay Rapunzel. (the dress from the end) but I don't know where to start. Beautiful costume.

  • Hi, if you watch from part one, as this video is part 6 and listen to me speaking, you can see what patterns I used.

    Thanks

  • Hello.

have you made the dress without pattern?.

I myself have been looking for patterns so I can make one myself but it has not succeeded yet.

    it is really amazing.

the have you been doing really well.

  • Everything turned out beautiful !!!!!! You have inspired me to make things like this for myself !!! BRAVO!!! I hope u make more of these kinds of things in the future I would LOVE to see them!!

  • @Dreamingpanda261

Thank you ever so much, I know it was hard to get everything across and some things impossible to film, but it's only a rough guide for people, you really have to know your stuff, mum is the expert, but I do all the art work and choose fabrics, we work well together. Please check out my other costume videos, though they are not tutorials, it gives people an insight at least.

    Cheers From Tracy
