Bloody brilliant. I had a mate (sadly passed on now) who had this on tape but I never knew the title until I just googled the lyrics in the chorus. It brings back happy memories of more carefree times.
@BetterTasteThanU you are entitled to your opinion, but i'd like to see you call dave brock a moron to his face. And can you play keyboard and guitar better than him aswell? Have you been playing quality music that millions worldwide have loved for 40 years like he has? No, you are a sad little loser... grow up
this is what i call a biker track,i have this on in my head when i set out on trips on my bike, which incidently is called zarozinia.hawkwind is in my blood.
I like this song but I don't think it holds a candle to: Silver machine, Orgone Accumulator, Seven by Seven, Assault and Battery or even Hurry On Sundown. It's lost its edge a little. All said I still do like the song.
Well, I only discovered Hawkwind in '95 listening to a Mark Radcliffe session on radio 1. I was stoned but when this song started it took me about ten seconds to load a blank tape into the deck and hit record, loved it all since. I watched them play live a week ago in a small meadow just 3 miles from where I live , and this was the encore along with assasins of Allah, just a great experience!
Sounds as if the young Foo Fighters might have listened to this, too - has a bit of similarities to "Learning To Fly". But i guess Hawkind might have listened to Swell Maps at that time back then.....
This song is freaking awesome. I want space rock as my major influence when I start my own band

It's funny how this song to me sounds the least hawkwind-ish while at the same time being the most hawkwind-ish.
I love it I won't lie. Just as much as I love their earlier stuff.
It's funny how you can follow the technological revolution by tracing hawkwind's music.

I like that too. It's like that with Skinny Puppy as well.
