You know um scar isn't really that big of a dick i mean he did deserve to die but think about it, he did let the hyenas in the pride lands but look at it from their pint of view, mufasa banished to a land with no food or water, and scar promised them they never go hungry again if they help him kill mufasa, shenzi banzai and ed were only looking out for their clan so they are not all bad, and at the end scar did sort of fulfill his promise, along with the stomachs of many other hyenas

This part is sort of based on the hamlet inspirations for this movie, because Scar is not the legitimate king, that he has killed his way into the throne the land is cursed, no rain, no sunlight etc. also the hyenas were allowed to go crazy, most of the herds and animals must have left to find somewhere more food plentiful and safe. his rule is sort of a blight on the land and it isn't until scar is dethroned and Simba the true king arrives that things start up again.

exactly this is the moment where Simba has shown that he is the king he was born to be, he would not kill Scar becasue he would be no better than him, so instead banishes him. also he has taken his role as king more seriously than he did as a kid, who wanted to be ruler of everything, he now has accepted the responsibility of the crown. the fight between him and scar symbolizes that last trail he must take, defeat his uncle.

Soo, love this video and love this movie its one of my fave childhood movies. Love this scene its so funny especially with timon and pumbaa is in it.
