No, Im 100% man but I do dedicate my spare time to my dogs. I have 4 Pits (2 adults and two male 5 month old puppies that are offspring of the two adults). When I'm not at work my time is consummed with training. I'm not one of those people who get a dog to stick it in the backyard. I have psycological, behaviorial and physical goals for my dogs each day and we work towards them. They are my pack and they act like a pack. All of them have free roam of my house and we all co habitate together.
She is beautiful but she would look better with more of a conditioned look. I use treadmill, spingpole and flirtpole. I don't fight my game bred Colby but he loves to work. He is one year old at about 54-56lbs.
Thx, I run her 3 days a week by having her & my male bully pull me on a skateboard around a mile and a half long track. Its mostly inclines & they both go crazy for it. When I posted this vid I had only been doing this for 1 month. Its been almost a year & her muscular build is fantastic. Her & my Bully are the most athletic dogs around. Their stamina is thru the roof. I took the Bully to a dog show this week & his muscular build ratio for his body size dominates the other Bullies in his class.
I just saw your video skateboarding with them. I love that, I use to bike my dogs until one day my Colby ran until his paws bled. He didn't whine or limp, I didn't notice until I saw the bloody paw prints. So I just got a treadmill and they love it. He runs for about 5 miles a day. he would go more if I let him. But I love the classic look of your dog. She is truly beautiful. Also, are you a girl? I am a girl and I don't meet many females who own and dedicate themselves to their dogs like I do.
The puppies try to run along but their parents are so strong that the run too fast for the pups to keep up and they end up tearing their paw pads in the process. I can only run the with the parents after the parent have an the track and they've tired a bit.
I have considered a treadmill but I like to get out & since the track is in the same park as the dog park & the track surrounds soccer fields its a great training/socializing experince for them everyday. My adult dogs have learned to ignore an agressive dog's threat displays. They are very confident & they trust that I will protect them, but dont be fooled, if a dog gets too close with its barking, snapping & growling, my dogs will put it in its place. The entire pack protects each other.
Yeah, my Colby dog especially wont be around any other dogs besides the ones in our pack. I have three, but he is the bad apple. He doesn't like dogs or people. He feels the need to protect me from anyone outside our family. I do walk all three of my dogs usually at the same time but its not a good enough workout so we walk an hour then run on the treadmill and play with the spingpole. Your female looks alloooott like my Colby dog chance.
You have no idea if your dog is a box jumper! Which I don't care I don't fight dogs. But you really have no idea unless she has been put there for at least 45 minutes!
I just watched them pulling you on a skateboard. There in good shape but my apbt can run 8 miles on a whim. Hows their endurance?
