  • Hmm.. only one guy.. <.<

  • Great music and dancing there! Brilliant video!

  • Whites Folks do every thing better!! Awesome!!

  • very nice! thank you for sharing.

  • I DO love this music!!!! No matter where it came from it's American southern now,LOL.

  • The dancing looks Irish.....

  • @OttoJuhl I was just thinking that myself. I'm still learning the history of americana/bluegrass music but I think the origins of the genre were from Ireland, Scotland, and England. Hopefully someone can help us out with this.

  • @mgbronner Ireland, if I'm not mistaken. To begin with, the similarities between what you see in this video and traditional Irish dancing are quite stark. Actually, one might be hard-pressed to differentiate the two, if it wasn't for the music, which isn't that entirely different either.

  • @mgbronner Actually. I might be mistaken. If you look up "Clogging" on Wiki, the article suggests that the origins are in fact Welsh. Do check the sources though.

  • @nachtebuch Thanks a lot. I want to study this further, not only because the music and dancing is awesome, but it is also my ancestry.

  • American folk dancing + American folk music = the best!

  • I loved it!..I got a cd of Broken String my sister send some years ago when she was in France,im in Argentina..Cheers to the band and dancers

  • This is very similar to Gaelic dancing, as seen in Riverdance.

  • @TheAnn2shoes That's because it was brought to America by the Scots-Irish immigrants and became clogging and flat footing.

  • This should be in black and white :).

  • this is what happens when your on good fiddles and dont' have cable tv.

  • poor dancers always get stuck with bad music. =(
