  • Even as a child I clearly remember watching this video and thinking: "Three losers, sitting in front of their TV in the middle of the day, paid a surprise visit by a car full of hot, stylish New Wave girls bearing video games? NOT GONNA HAPPEN."

  • For some reason, I was actually singing the "M-Network has a cure for the video blues" part last night. I came on YouTube this morning to look for a commercial, and damn if I didn't find this!

    Thanx a bunch! Ah, 1982...

  • I remember a different commercial for M-Network games. At the end, the couch that they're all sitting on, rises up into the air as they all huddle together. I seem to recall that there was a cute blond in a blue sweater or blouse, looking scared, or maybe amazed.

Anyone remember that one, or know where to find a copy of it?

  • It's on here...do a search for "M-Network Super Challenge Football Ad"

  • Thank you! That's the one. I never would have found it on my own. Thanks again!

  • I remember first seeing this commercial at some motel in McDonough, Ga, when we went to play a football game...

I remember I was the last to use the shower & everyone had already walked over to the Micky D's & nobody was supposed to walk alone, but I was hungry so I went anyway.

Coach got mad, but I really didn't see how he would think there could be any danger as he knew I could bench press a lot.

I got a McChicken, fries,& a coke - Micky D's really did have a lot better quality back then!

  • M Network games were waiting for me.

  • M Network was Mattel doing a "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em." And they did a rather good job at making 2600 games based on the ones released for Intellivision. I remember the consensus at the time that M Network's baseball game was better than Atari's RealSports. That was a bit of an irony since the RealSports series was in response to Mattel putting down Atari's then crude looking sports games.

  • However, they put out an atrocious conversion of Burgertime for Atari.

  • Thaat's from 1982! Thanks for posting. :-)

  • I remember this commercial. I had an Intellivision, not an Atari 2600.

  • Oh the memories...........

  • I remember that commercial!
