My cousin always does this brilliant trick in supermarkets using a bag of 3-day old sardines hidden in his pocket.

He goes round the store placing the fish here & there, right at the back of random shelves where they won’t be found for several hours/days. It works best in summer, when they REALLY stink the place out! He regards it as ‘hitting the jackpot’ if the whole store fills with flies & has to be closed for environmental cleaners- he’s managed it twice now!
