The difference between 3/4 and 6/8 is minuscule. They're both counted in threes, so honestly you could argue it being in either time signature because the only difference between the two is where the accent is placed.

Listen to the subdivision in the hi hat (giving the eighth note the steady beat) and how the songs stress only two down beats (on 1 and 4) as opposed to the 3 down beats included in 3/4 time (and the quarter getting the steady beat). hope that clears things up!
