Had to stop by a watch it again...sorry TJ, but this a great video and she is a looker as well......thanks again Sissy for turning me on to this gal....smooth groove...she's a rockin!
The thing about this great site Youtube is.., the ridiculous comparisons to the original version of a song that people have to comment on here. It's not a competition...these musicians pay homage to an original song because they love that song first and foremost. Listen to these great ( some all not that great) and take them for what they are. Case in point..Ann McCues's absolute blazing rendition of this tune. Keep rockin' Ann
You make a great point, it is ridiculous. Another interpretation is the live version of this by Aynsley Lister on the Supakev n' Pilchards CD. He does an equally nice job with his version.
There is a name missing from your influences and I am a little surprised. Rory Gallagher was recording with Muddy, Jerry lee and other great bluesmen back before blues was even "cool" He would be worth your while to listen to. I don't think you would be dissappointd Ms.McCue. You are a great musician.
I enjoy your music. One name I find that is not in your list of favored musicians is Rory Gallagher. He sold 20 million records, and toured relentlessly until his death. May I suggest Bad Penny from the 1985 Montreaux Jazz festival. You share a strong attack I find uncanny. I am a die hard fan of his, and he may be worth your while to give him a listen.
My comment didn't post immediately, sorry for the repetition, but I think you would like him. I was rockin' on him from his days in Taste, '71 or so until he died in 1994.
Pretty well the only female singer i like lol. that was pretty good. Cant say anyone beats the Rroy Gallagher version, but i've yet to hear the original.
'Genious' is actually spelt 'genius'.

A brilliant interpretation.Slow enough for me to listern and learn how to play it.
Forget the patronising comments from other "Men" ,your playing a guitar and that is what counts.Once more with feeling!!Well done.

Yes, Rory was one of the best there ever was or ever will be, but his young lady does a nice job. Love Thin Lizzy by the way.
