No offince, but you chicken out EVERY time someone locks onto you, you flare late ever time. BUT you do have some good manoeuvring skills, you also need to work together with your wing man on flaring. Maybe with some practice you'd make a perfect pilot and never have to repair. Last time i was playing as a gunner and the pilot never got hit with the rocket because we had airflares so it was allmost impossible to hit us with anti air...

@CVarden i showed this to my dad who was in the military he was in Iraq in 2006 and he was the pilot of a blackhawk. Even though this is a different copter, he still thinks its pretty close to what a real HUD (heads up display) looks like but he says its missing some things. Just a question. Do you fly with the default layout? Or use mouse X axis as yaw, A/D as roll? Because I find it hard to control with the mouse sets to roll. Too sensitive.

It was eerie for me watching this because your flight style is so similar to mine, I fly pretty much the same way and take exactly the same routes when playing this map. Then again I guess flying like this is the only way of doing it right and staying alive the whole game. Love the attack helicopters in this game. Already have 3 service stars for them.

I love bf ive played bf2 on pc but i play bf3 on console and that was nice piloting the AH is prob my favorite vehicle in the game, the jets dont excite me that much. If you have an xbox reply with your GT cause im tired of getting pilots who wreck before taking off or gunners that dont do anything

i constantly get complains from the gunners about motion sickness, i try to slow down and circle strafe more when i have a competent gunner, especially if he understands flares. gives more time to kill things/look for stinger trails.
