2. i have to disagree with that, just because amon amarth doesn't use keyboards like many melodeath bands tend to do doesn't mean they're not melodeath cuz their riffs are still very melodic, their riffs are nothing like the ones used by regular death metal bands like death, morbid angel, cannibal corpse, suffocation, etc

Viking Metal is not a genre of metal, since all Viking Metal is a reference to is the strong emphasis on Viking culture & stories. So-called "Viking Metal" bands all come from different influences ranging from Melodic Death to folk to black to thrash.

Sorry but but you clearly have no idea what deathcore is to state that BDM are deathcore. Deathcore would something like Despised Icon. BDM are just metalcore with hints of melodeath. (If you didn't notice, they sound much like At thet gates with a slightly more agressive touch.)
