Seeing Phantom Menace in theaters made it seem like it was a better movie. I mean Darth Maul is just a complete BAD ASS! Hopefully this will be the same when they re-release this one. They say they will re-release one a year but I think that is complete crap because I dont want to wait a whole other year to see this one and then another year to see episode 3. Maybe wait 6 or so months to release episode 2 then wait a full year to see the good ones.

This looks like a film project that was filmed partly, not finished, and then later on filmed again to finish it. But I think the script and plan for the movie was made earlier on. However, the script might have undergone some re-writes in the later filming.

In this episode, Padme's term as a queen ended but the current queen wanted to keep her involved in the senate so she was elected senator

But to the characters in the movie, the events are disjointed and hard to connect; the disadvantage of the audience already knowing where things are going to finally play out.
