From 0:38 ...by the time the engines reach full power around 0:53... if you have any heart problems, that sound would probably make your heart literally burst inside of your chest. You feel like you're gonna explode... along with the plane.

I bet you could feel that supersonic buzzer type buzzing sound radiating from the fan blades in your entire body... exactly the way you hear it... with that same intensity, like you are sitting right on top of the engines.

@caillou1718 great aircraft. takeoffs are loud but the sound is great. When you takeoff, you have a steap angle rotate.

I recall flying out towards the east (1982) I think I was on the left side and one coulod see all the roads completed for the Westinghouse Corp's Gateway residential development with no houses yet. Did they finally get most of it done??

Best engines ever,love the JT-8D Pratts.When I fly on the MD's I always try to get a seat in the back just to hear em.Favorite commercial jet,too bad the 737s came along.
