Dubbing has come a long way since the '90s. (And did you hear the dub for Gundam Unicorn? It's frickin' awesome!)
At the same time though, I think what crippled Love Hina and a lot of other shows with really terrible dubs is the voice DIRECTION. One of Keitaro's friends is played by Steve Blum who, by all accounts, is a talented voice actor. It's just, when the director sets out certain goals and messes them up due to a lack of experience, it shows...oh does it show.....

My mom's side is the normal one giving gifts of the first day and we just spend the rest of the time with christmas specials.
My Dad's side take advantage of the fact sales happen from day 2 on and give gifts on the 6th of January saying that's the day Jesus likely got the Wise men gifts where the tradition follows anyway considering Jesus was born sometime in March or April.

I look like such a fan, don't I? Well, I enjoyed the manga, sure, but the anime...-shudders-.
Yeah, true. In the manga you sometimes had to wait 20 chapter until something resurfaced...only to be submerged under something new and forgotten.
If you thought this was bad, check out Itsudatte My Santa. It was so bad that it was cancelled after two episodes. After seeing the trailer for what could've been a third episode, you should be glad it stopped there.
Oh yeah, I just saw that being advertised in the December edition of the UK Magazine "Neo". It looked like crap from the screenshots I could see, and the reviews weren't that great either.
If I'd had watched that myself that might be up there above instead of Love Hina. xD

Oh and Subs are Horrible... Dubs Own.. The Only Subbed anime that is good in my Opinion is Jyu Oh Sei. Ur just a hater... too critical...

If you think this is bad, I hope you haven't watched the other Love Hina Special.
As for this, I like it, but in the Love Hina canon it is pushed aside like it never even happened which brings it down.
