  • For me, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Romy Schneider were the perfect beauties. I wish I looked like one of them. They were so different, but all very beautiful. Plus they had elegance and charm. There are no celebrities like them nowadays.

  • So beautiful

  • I read somewhere that the director, Cukor, decided not to show up for these tests, and that she was a bit trepidatious about her importance in the project because of that... And so the crew (allegedly) began cat-calling and whistling while she was doing this, to encourage her. Supposedly that explains her attitude and expressions you see, while these tests were taken. Is it true?... Who knows?... But she does seem amused, doesn't she? And SO beautiful.

  • Marilyn e Megan são LINDAS . Uma não tem nada haver com a outra, são belezas totalmente diferentes . Parem de ficar criando assunto .

  • She was so beautiful..SO beautiful..

  • Hot.

  • and marilyn did not take any plastic surgery like megan did!

  • @TheHannah1601 Marilyn did "take plastic surger" for starters had a small nose job and a chin implant put in..Google it.

By the way why the fuck are there comment about Megan Fox on a Marilyn Monroe video?

  • @TheHannah1601 actually she did. it is widely known that she had rhinoplasty early in her career

  • she looks different her

  • OMG her right eye was totally off kilter, not converging at all. What a different look from a few years prior. I learned from IAHP seminars that most of the time eye convergence issues are mild/moderate/more...anyway, brain damage....probably from rx pills.....

  • I swear my mom has that same dress!! :)

  • Lovely and Glamorous ¡¡¡ Kisses from Barcelona. Merry Christmas to everybody.

  • I love her smile, and man did she know how to play a camera. Beautiful woman.

  • My god she was so gorgeous!:(

  • she looks pretty at 0;24 XX LOVE YOU MARILYN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What can I say...........First class lady..the music is greatt too!....like to know the name of the orchestra.

  • A star ....a real star ........she shines so bright......very radiant

  • Wow. She certainly didn't look 36 years old. If I didn't know better, I would have guessed her to be around 25.

  • wow

    she is pretty

i never seen a video of her :3

  • I want to marry her. :D

  • what music is this?

  • she was an original like brando, tatlor, gable, etc.

  • I really wish she would of finished this movie

  • She had 'IT' in spades!

  • @flenif2247 And watching this vid simply showcases that. Just amazing. :)

  • I cant help but to think what an older looking Marilyn would have looked liked. This woman surely was confident in her looks and in herself and if she wasnt, she did a great job faking it. Gorgeous woman!

  • perfect.. her eyes, lips, brow, mouth, nose, lashes, hair, shape, proportions, symetry............................. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. awesome

  • I love the way she had to lick her lips !

  • woooooooooooooooooooooow beautiful.

  • @mllenissou LOL. True, true. :D

  • Does this look like a woman who would take her own life? Monroe was bumped off there's no question of it. She never looked better than in these tests.

  • Wow. She is so beautiful. Lovely...

  • She was at the top of her game at 36! She just got better and better

  • such a creature born once in a thousand years

  • @fyan007 Nope. There will never be another like her, not in another thousand years or even a million. She's one of a kind.

  • She was so sweet...

  • She looked so beautiful, but she does look ill at the same time, She was right, you are able to notice her fatigue no matter how much makeup they were able to put on

  • this is what years of bleaching does to your hair haha, she is gorgeous but it looks like a wig! xx

  • Quite possibly the most beautiful woman of all time, because it also came from the inside.

  • And people say she was fat?!!! Please!!

    Exquisite until the end!

  • she is such a doll

  • i love marilyn

  • Damn this woman was soooooo beautiful, she just seemed to get more gorgeous as time progressed! Megan Fox you are sooooo damn ignorant! You will never hold a candle to Marilyn in talent, beauty & poise! You'll be damn lucky if you even look half as good as MM at age 36, or for that matter, even have an acting career to speak of.

  • @stp88661 Megan Fox? jeez shes hot but no as classy and sexy as Marilyn Monroe

  • omg her beauty is crazy i have no words to describe it...i swear anyone to have meet or even seen her has to be the luckiest people ever!!

  • Hot stuff until the very end......You can see sadness in her eyes !

  • You can see the change in her face because of stress, drug abuse, and age starting to catch up with her....she was still beautiful.

  • I love marilyn a little more filled out..this was definetly her skinny period. You can definetly see it in her face..

  • marilyn was gorgeous in this clip!!!! luv the song too

  • She looked amazing for this movie, best she ever looked

  • Its unfortunate that her last appearence in a movie was never to be completed, Marilyn's new look and style in the early sixties was just eye poppin'.

  • Omg, what a beautiful woman! She's breath taking, really.

  • she was really skinny at that time

  • @MichaelJacksonBabeh Well sorry if I wasn't born way back in the day! And that’s the first time I heard the name. And I don’t correct something before I post. And I am not trying to start a fight I am just stating the facts.

  • @megirlmeme44444

ahahah i wasn't born way back in the day wither sweety. I'm 15..... ha awkward.

  • Marilyn never looked more beautiful. At 36 she clearly had blossomed into a radiant beauty. There aren't any stars today that project such radiance.

  • Hollywood now is terrible! Marilyn Monroe, Grace Kelly, Katharine and Aubrey Hepburn will never be forgotten! And they all died (Except for Katharine) in terrible was:

Grace - Suffered a stroke drove her car over a cliff and her daughter (Who didnt die) with her

    Marilyn - Drug Overdose

    Aubrey - abdominal pains

… and dont forget how old they were:

    Grace - 52

    Marilyn - 36

    Aubrey - 63

  • @megirlmeme44444

HAHAH Aubrey ? AUDREY* ! Honestly , you really should have known that.

  • @MichaelJacksonBabeh Her name was AuDrey... Not Aubrey.

  • @foreverandalways1220

that's what i said if you could read before trying to correct me. thanks. I Corrected @megirlmeme44444. SHE said her name was Aubrey , i corrected HER. Notice the AUDREY *. Honestly look a little closer before trying to correct someone.

  • What does everybody mean "she's so thin and sick"?? She looks normal as ever here...honestly, she looks better in her 30's than she ever did!

  • 7 idiots

  • back when women knew how inappropriate it was to have brown roots showing!

  • How is someone THIS perfect?!

  • omg! she's so much more attractive and beautiful than i really thought she was... I'm in love with that smile :D

  • how much hairspray do you reckon she has on?

  • Very Debbie Harry

  • she's so cute.

  • She is so thin in this vid and more beaitiful

  • She had Asperger syndrome....Autism.

  • She's so gorgeous nice skin tone, nice body, flawless soft face, I just wanna hug her and kiss her!!!!

  • I can still remember the day she died.....the world changed that day...we lost something of our own grace and beauty.

  • Pretty as an angel! Love her kindness and beauty - it's was all over her face.

  • the beauty is her simplicity

     and earthlyness

  • I could watch her all day

  • she's so thin.

  • Always in our hearts and dreams.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • I especially love her smile and her eyes

  • Her only physical flaw that I can see is her yellowish teeth.

  • 2 years before this shoot, she became a little heavy. But, after the bad criticisms she got, the bombshell that was Marilyn came back, and how!

  • She was lovely!!!

  • she looks absolutely stunning!!

  • At 36 she was more beautiful than ever. She had a such a radiance about her that really came alive on film. This would have been a hit for her. Nice tribute!

  • I remember seeing this clip as a child and thinking that in the blue and white dress, Ms. Monroe was more beautiful than Barbie. Thank you so much for sharing the memories. : )

  • OH MY GOD>.. SHE IS SOOO FRICKIN BEAUTIFUL I CANT EVEN STAND IT!

  • She was ahead of her time. And Beautiful.

  • Seems more like a face test video rather than a costume test.

  • Thank you for sharing

  • Ive been studying this hairstyle at last ive got the cut and the colour just right.

  • @Dryfanny I want my hair like that, but don't know if it would look too weird on me.or people will look at me weird. But i love it!!...a lot of hair sparey though..=/ but oh...so gorgeous.

  • what a pure goddess.

  • OMG she is soooo gorgeous. she looks better than she ever did, and she's 36 here. Beautiful. there will never be another beauty like her.

  • @lolla909 there wont lol

  • @lolla909 She was quite unique. There are other women before,of and after her that I feel are beautiful in their own way. But she definitely had a lovely style. And the dress on her is to die for !!!!

  • Poor Marylin. She looks so sad. :(

  • Ah, Marilyn had so much natural charisma. The camera loved her!

  • 4 losers, 285 beautiful fans!!!

  • just everysingle last thing about her screams pure beauty and sexy :3

  • Not only beautiful, but sexy.

  • barbara eden's new book called "jeanie out of the bottle" describes how she was at 20th century fox making a movie and she was friends with marilyn's stand-in evelyn moriarty, evelyn brought a nervous and young eden to meet the one and only marilyn who was filming something's got to give at the same time! eden a knockout herself writes " marilyn was the most beautiful thing she ever saw then and now, including liz .taylor! her beauty and mannerisms were like ether to those in her presence!

  • where's her beauty mark on her face? :O

  • @lolitta54628 she would often pencil over it to give it more distinction...but there is probably makeup over it in this shoot :D

  • she looks so beautiful ...i think this would have been an amazing movie a great classic. she just looks fantastic and beautiful...one of the best that shes ever looked..also think she would have given a great comedi performance in this. i do think she is on the skinny side a little bit. her figure looks perfect but her face looks a little gaunt...but besides that she looks pretty much perfect<3 her:)

  • She was beautiful, healthy and life was going well for her at the time of her death. I believe she did not overdose but was murdered.

  • @fatdanios that makes sense considering she suffered most of her life and was going to therapy every day and was obviously suffering from some mental issues (most likely bi-polar) and attemped suicide on a few occasions before this event.......yah.....i bet someone killed her

  • @SmallTownSongstress So, based on what you just wrote, are you saying that it is impossible for someone to murder her? I say that it is highly possible and her past mental issues were the perfect cover for some very dastardly deeds!

Why don't you read The Marilyn Conspiracy and think it over again? It may be out of print, but you can most likely find a copy in a library.

  • @fatdanios Then you're silly.

  • I like how the camera films her straight on in this video, showing a real view of her figure, rather than sensationalized camera angles glorifying her bosom. She looks, natural, human, feminine.

  • My God, in addition to everything else she had a perfect ass. She was absolutely right when she said her ass was the best there is.

  • This reminds me of Ginger (Tina Louise) on Gilligan's Island. she was a very good red-head imitation of MM

  • she was the prettiest most beautiful creature that ever walked on this planet.

  • Good God, I could watch this all day! She looks stunning!

  • I love her dress!

  • this is a great video of Marilyn!

  • MM was and is and will always be The Greatest Star

  • She is thinner than normal. Prior to this test she had undergone gallbladder surgery and had lost 25 pounds. That's a lot of weight to lose for a woman who probably didn't weigh more than 130 pounds to begin with.

But she's never looked lovelier than she does here. Just incredible. She was truly in her prime just prior to her death. Some women are in their prime in their 20's, some in their 30's. I'd categorize MM among the latter.

  • @bettyford13 Anorexic? Where on earth did you hear that? I've never heard that before. She simply lost a bit of weight. That's all.

  • Just perfect. Every inch the ultimate Hollywood star.

  • Britney looks like monro!the are beautifil!

  • her hair is just too light here !!!!!!!l

  • who the FUCK disliked this video?!!! #Crazy!!! :p

  • @PeriquinTV Agreed. What turnips! Sheesh. :\

  • that smile almost killed me

  • Marilyn Monroe was pure movie magic, a very rare quality that few actresses from yesterday & today possess. The camera loved her, the american public loved her & even her detractors (friendnemies) couldn't do anything but stand the fuck out of the way & let this beautiful creature sparkle! It didn't hurt that she was very talented. When you goddamn ghouls are done looking at her dealth photos, check out "Bus Stop, Some Like It Hot & The Misfits, just to name a few. This woman had talent!

  • she is so beautiful.

  • Looks like she can flip some kind of clear film cover over her eye balls. Makes her look very different from when her face is normal to when she drops her eye lids. When her natural face looks plain in comparison to when her face is "in her eyes", you see a change in her face. Her 1960's "Real Life Face" is different. Her stage face is eye lids drop, dancing around, smiling, face up. She has several faces.

  • @heartlessvietboy Er... ok... Lay of the lsd. ;)

  • She is beautiful. Way ahead of her time.

  • @heartlessvietboy She sure is. Agreed. :)

  • @heartlessvietboy Yeah, gotta agree with you. Just perfect to look at.

  • she lost a lot of weight for this film, still looking gorgeous as usual

  • It`s a pity.

  • @Americanoriginals I agree with u, every time I c this video I always wish she would hav finished it.

  • wish you were alive marilyn.. i would die for you.

  • At 36 people have fine lines, something. Her face had no wrinkles, perfect and back then there was no surgery or botox. Wonder how she kept her face flawless despite all the drinking and drugs? A true beauty indeed.

  • @ThePokerfacemama well to be honest, she did have quite a few lines on her face. Still a very rare look at a 36 year old woman's face. You just don't get the most honest perspective due to the quality of video taken back then. I did research on her death for a class of mine and came across a few autopsy photos. Her face without the glorious makeup did show the premature aging that drinking and smoking caused. The make up she wore (especially for movies) was thick. STILL she was a beauty.

  • @Melimo Well, to be honest, she didn't. There were "laugh lines" which she'd always had when she smiled. Even as a young woman. As the for death pics---she was dead! And had been dead for almost 24 hours. AND she'd undergone the autopsy already, cutting away the muscles of her face (to remove the brain) Her skin was mottled because she was found face down, and the blood had settled there. She was not a heavy smoker.

  • @Melimo

Check out the autopsy photos of JFK & BK, they didn't look so hot either, because they had just been autopsied! RIP Norma Jean, Joe DiMaggio & Joe Jr. Waif55 she had more than one bad night, SHE WAS MURDERED!

  • @stp88661

Actually, JFK looks damn good in his autopsy photos.

It saddens me that that MM's death photo was released. You can't even Google her pics without running into it. Of course it doesn't look like her. At some point after we die none of us look like we looked when we lived. In the case of MM I think decomposition had begun to set in.

  • at 0.17 is scary. the director looks like a guy i could see nowadays.

  • Compared to Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn had "aged" beautifully and gracefully. Did you see BB's photos after she hit 30? Here was Marilyn, at 36, "lost" the oversexiness but gained a more alluring and subtle beauty.

  • My God! The ultimate sex symbol! After being fired, Dean Martin refused to continue the movie without her, therefore Fox rehired her & tentatively signed her to a $1,000,000 dollar three picture deal! They were to restart in the fall of 62! Suicide? Bullshit, she was no suicide, she had everything going for her! Read Joe DiMaggio's bio, he knew who was responsible for her untimely demise.

You want Brazil/Argentina! Subscribe to National Geographics!

  • She never looked better...!!Eunice Murray via Greenson...murderers...taking away this precious angel...

  • I wish I had that kind of presence Marilyn brings !

  • She died almost 50 yrs ago and is still making magazine covers. She has to be the most beautiful woman to walk the face of the earth. She makes Angelina Jolie look like Charles Bronson in drag.

  • @avengerspeel Oh that's truly funny! "Charles Bronson in drag" - I'm dying!

  • @avengerspeel No she doesn't. Marilyn is breathtaking in her own way. Angelina is astonishingly gorgeous in her own way. ;)

  • She got skinnier for this movie for some reason. She looked stunning right up until the end!

  • @bakerpb reports say she got down to 115 pounds after her breakup with Arthur miller.

  • @missmarilyn91 I knew it! I believe she was on mini yo-yo "diets" for her film career. I admire her body most in 1953 and in 1962.

  • Making-of Somethings Got To Give is superb; my VHS lessTV-commercials in-need of DVD upgrade.

  • Good god..... breathtaking.

  • Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jean Baker) was no suicide! After being fired from this film, she was rehired after Dean Martin told Fox that he would not work with any other actress but her. Re-instated, Fox even signed her (tentatively) to a $1,000,000 three picture deal & filmimg was to resume in the fall of 62. Her stand-in even stated to the public that she was excited about finishing the film. She had everything going for her. Joe DiMaggio knew who was responsible for her untimely demise.

  • I am not sure if I would call her beautiful, but I think that even in a room full of beautiful women today, she would immediately stand out in the crowd. There's just something enchanting about her. Her smile alone could light up the darkest room..and heart.

  • @NightinGal89 Who to you is beautiful?

  • @theblazingangel well..Catherine Zeta-Jones, or Grace Kelly..you know, women who have a lot of great features with little or no plastic surgery.

  • @NightinGal89 Many say Marilyn had surgery but no one has come forward with actual, solid PROOF. It seems someone wrote it in a book and everyone else has repeated it. Now, I'm not saying Monroe didn't have surgery... but, really, there is no evidence of this. There are so many myths around Monroe it is exhausting. BTW, Grace Kelly and Catherine Zeta Jones??? Two amazingly beautiful women. Great choices and thanx for answering my question. :)

  • I don't think she ever looked more beautiful then in this not completed film. Stunning........

  • She looks so relaxed in this vid. It's so hard to believe that she had so many breakdowns while shooting "Something's Got To Give", and it's even harder to believe that she finally killed herself. Or was it just that she said goodbye in these scenes? I`ve read somewhere that people who plan to commit suicide in the near future suddenly calm down and display a tricky kind of self-assurance.

  • @0TangerineD Marilyn had overdosed on pills by accident numerous times, Arthur Miller even had to check her breathing before he fell asleep while they were married. It is much more likely to have been an overdose than a suicide. There were many other times in Marilyn's life when she was much lower than she was in 1962, where she didn't kill herself.

  • @0TangerineD I don't believe she "planned" to kill herself, but she had suffered depression and taken near-fatal over-doses in the past. Despite being re-hired (and I've yet to see proof of her "million dollar contract") nothing could change the facts of her last two flops and her age--in 1962, 36 was quite mature. She was no vindictive bitch, looking to ruin the Kennedys (or herself!) She was still hoping to save her career. She had one bad night.

  • This is great, it captures her physique really well. 5'6". This was 1962 when film was "modernizing". They shot at odd angles with theater lighting in classic Hollywood. Lots of shadows and bleaching lights. Marilyn was a natural for modern film. It did her justice. If only she could have finished at least this one film before she passed away. We're lucky to have this.

  • She also had talent and intelligence.......

  • Marilyn tenía un encanto y belleza que traspasaba la pantalla. Ella estará por siempre en nuestros corazones. She was beautiful and nice. "She is always on my mind"....

  • Che dolce!:) <3 so sweet..

  • Marilyn Monroe was one of a kind. There will never be another woman who can even compare to her beauty and talent. love her, shes such an idol.

  • Just extraordinary. She never looked better. So luminous and fragile, but absolutely stunning.

  • Wow this was the last movie she ever made and it wasnt even completed but i think she looked the best she's ever looked here i think god made her look her best during her last days but she's always been besutiful to me beautiful skin tone beautiful hair beautiful facial structure nice body overall probably the most sexiest beautifull woman in the world no one can compare to her beauty she always comes first the one and only.

  • not just her beauty that made her a star she really was an amazing actress..no woman has been or will be as gorgeous

  • Just gorgeous!

  • Yes...I would....
