''Punny insects. Now I swat them like flies!!!!!'' Classic.. A form of it used in the movie.. Too bad America turned P.C. a few years later.. We'll never see this pure rage again... Maybe someday we'll swat the Left like insects..............
Only thing good about the '80s version was the writing surpassed "Saturday Morning" dialog. The ALIEN who called Betsy "My Dear"--creepy shit! "Noodle-Head Ned"...YES!!! (The SPIDER-MAN/AMAZING FRIENDS dialog today is worth of CW Prime Time--its just that damn good.)
Originally, he turned into the Hulk when the moon was out; like the Wolfman. Here he changed into the Hulk when he got frustrated, a key element that would be used later on in the old TV series.
at this point stress/rage would trigger it and Banner knew that the enemy had to be stopped and that only the HULK could do it. This is one of the first times that Banner realized the power he has as the Hulk and willfully unleashed it. As the comic would progress things would change from rage triggering the change from Banner to Hulk and back again to rage triggering the change to Hulk and calmness changing him back.
At this point in the comics, the transformation was becoming triggered by rage/stress instead of zapping himself with the gamma machine. Great rage would change him to Banner and great rage levels would revert him from Hulk to Banner at this early stage. In comic version of this episode, as Banner was in his cell he realized if he was dead then the Hulk would no longer menace anyone. Then he realized the HULK could save him and smash the commies.

Gotta like how some Russian ship just happens to be cruising around an American military island.
Gotta like the dialog exchange when they get Banner back to the Russian base...
Banner: "You can't force me to work for you!"
Russian General: "We do not force anyone... but... if you want to live... well!"

Why doesnt anyone post The Incredible Hulk animated series from the 80's? It has way better animation than it's 1966 counterpart.
