@Zer0K3wLL Why dont you get it? Ofcourse more fans will move more air, unless you place them so that they push the air into each other, wich is probably what you are thinking of. If you do that the CFM wont increase, but the static pressure will. If you start 2 fans they WILL move twice as much air as one fan.
Ware I live it would take more than just 3 of these just to keep my workstation from bsod if I were to turn off the A/C. 40c room temp without A/C during the summer = a bad sign.
@cyber8000 Essentially there isn't one, a server might run different operating systems and have different requirements, but typically a server is just a cut down version of a PC (Since they don't need graphics or sound cards or anything else that doesn't help them process data).
A typical PC can do everything a server does, its just more user friendly than your typical Server blade.
@Lollocide At larger servers can take up entire rooms or buildings and consist of more hardrive than you can imagine, server = lots of fans hardrives, wires, tanke processors and more power bills then u wanna know about.
Haha! Delta once manufactured turbines. Haha just kidding. I could use one of those if I were to do a full rack system build, but for overclocking, the best alternative is liquid cooling.
@Runningr0se Scythe Kaze-Jyuni 1900RPM move around 100-110CFM and are about as loud as a tricool fan. You can get 2200RPM version I think but they are rare. I have one on my CPU cooler along with a 60CFM fan. There are also several other 60CFM fans in my case (view my video to see them). The 60CFM fans are almost silent.
@paultje162 You need to stop believing the box, they sorta fib on there to get you to buy the fan. those fans you've got are CAPABLE of 7200 RPM and are CAPABLE of 18Dba, just not at the same time. Try turning them all the way up.
ITS a MUST have airflow in a server, you cant let the temps get high, thats why almost all server (in my opinion of course :P )are noisy, ib senn several server (rack mount, tower) and all were noisy
They're like that not because they need a large amount of matter to dissipate heat, but so that there is an overkill such that the ENTIRE system remains cool rather than just the CPU - increasing overall stability of the system. This is why you might get an unstable system with a TRUE vs an Intel stock HSF - the stock HSF cools the motherboard's NB as well, which is the heart of the computer.
agree, i forgot to mention that, now that you mention about disipating the NB, there's aftermarket HSF for pc(i dont know if there are for servers too) like the Tt extreme spirit, i got 1 and its great :)
delta are the king of making hi cfm fans.

High rpm fans on radiators of liquid cooled system is the way to go , why aint any of that appearing yet?
shermanlee85856 10 months ago
@shermanlee85856 because watercooling has mainly been marketed as "quieter" than air cooling
sdably 9 months ago
@sdably No, water cooling (actual watercooling, not a H80) is meant for performance at a reasonable price
xAxisTechOFFICIAL 7 months ago
@shermanlee85856 What? You can put these fans on a Rad, whats stopping you

change them for a delta, 250 CFM each and enjoy the lift power
willitomneto 1 year ago
that you have 3x 120 cfm fans in a case does't make it 360 cfm you dumbass
Zer0K3wLL 1 year ago
@Zer0K3wLL The fans combined output is 360 cfm.
MYsterYmarcus 1 year ago
@MYsterYmarcus
You can add 10x 120 cfm fans and it wont be 1200 cfm.............
combined or not
Zer0K3wLL 1 year ago
@Zer0K3wLL Yes it will be. All of the fans will move 120 cfm each, and all the air the fans move combined would be 1200 cfm.
MYsterYmarcus 1 year ago
@MYsterYmarcus
Then go ahead combine over 900000000 fans and create a hurricane......
Dumbass.......

ITS a MUST have airflow in a server, you cant let the temps get high, thats why almost all server (in my opinion of course :P )are noisy, ib senn several server (rack mount, tower) and all were noisy
