the dog is mean not because they make it mean. Pom are guard dogs and they feel the need to protect their owners. My Pom will do the same thing when someone tries to go into my room. However, he does not do that to family and people he deemed as friends though.

My brother's girlfriend has onen named Kokonutt. When I was dog-sitting Kokonutt the Pom, I was nice to her and she kept biting me after I gave her treats plus I pet her when she wanted to be pet.

So I bite her back hard on the muzzle and kicked her against a wall: no problems since!

Now she's a good dog and I'm the Alpha-Male.
