I was like WTF with the 10 songs also. but i do agree with you about how Monica and Brandy rely on their voices because they arent dancers. But I love Monica voice and no matter what she sings I love it. Shes very underrated and I cant wait until her cd drops. Ive been a fan of Monicas since 1995 and none of her cds have disappointed me. Her last cd the makings of me is excellent but as Monica said she released the wrong single from the cd. Oh well shes still standing and I love her work ethic.

Xem, I seen that Monica has put the "still standing single for the show's theme & on her myspace I wonder if that's the new single? I actually liked the Infinity track but honestly, it is really hard to tell what will be a break out single for any artist at this time. I'm sure Alicia Keys didn't think her new single would go in the direction it did. As for BET finally having a drama free show, I think that ppl have the control on what they want to watch and that's all I have to say about that...

Man, I got goose bumps from that 'Infinity' track. I think that would be a big ballad for Monica, but it can't be the 1st single. 'Bet'cha' seems to be a filler track. I'm loving the drama-free series... BET finally gave 'real' black people a chance and left the coonery @ the door.

xemvanadams.i agree 110%.love that fact that Monica is bringing a more positive messege to reality tv and actually has a PURPOSE AND MEANING for her show she stresses that constantly if her show can reach even 1 person then shes happy ALSO BET HAS EXTENDED HER SHOW 4 EPISODES more than likely the show will run up until the day of her album release I really hope ppl catch on to this tho because monica is a real artist w/real talent and our music vets are loosing to this new generation...its sad.

i'm glad to see that bet has picked up this show. the first season aired in atlanta on peachtree tv late last year when she did "still standing" the single. i love monica and i'm highly anticipating her album. =]

I agree with you-Monica is a sophisticated young woman whose focus is to highlight her family and music only. Unfortunately, the family aspect is more interesting to me than the music. Her voice is great but the tracks played on last night's episode won't bring her back to the musical forefront. Hopefully, she can bring it together between now and Jan.
