absoluetly love BJS. When I was younger (in Milwaukee) we only had one country station that my mom listened to and only played modern, nashville country. I never too much cared for that type of music and thought in my younger days didn't like country. But of course in my college years Napster came along and i got to explore Waylon, Willie, BJS. That's when my impression of music in general changed. BJS is just good music..period end of story.

Billy Joe is unique, saw him at the Komedia in Brighton. Only about 40 people in the audience. Like having him play in your front room, one of the best performers ever, the rest of Brighton don't know what they missed. Love you Billy Joe.

Just check Waylon, Willie, and most any artist that didn't record much in Nashville (thank God most of the good ones stayed away from there!)and you'll find his songs on their albums.
