  • Oh the baby won't drown babies under7months can swim and they know when to come up to breathe so don't get all worked up

  • Wtf is wrong with you?

  • @ThatBoyCanJig

Um? I don't want my baby to drown? WTF is wrong with parents who don't teach their kids to swim? Why do so many children die each year from drowning in their own homes/yards???

  • crazy the baby is only like 3 months

  • The video froze up my page >.< cute baby though :3

  • esto que hptas tienes de emocionante joodanseeee mancosss!!!!!!

  • Drowning your kid!? Get a NEW job that you can get PAID for that DOESN'T have to do with children! Geez lady!

  • gosh ..you nearly killed the kid !!!!

  • It's not even child! Look at his neck! It's doll!

  • YOUR DROWNING IT!!!! LOL just kiddin ;)

Nice baby, where can I get me one of those?

  • omg that baby is so cute:)

  • Vous etes fou !!

  • Abuse

  • @HimGuyOverThere

All human babies can hold their breath. Its natural instinct.

There are actually parent-child bonding classes and baby swim classes that take babies as low as 3 months old and you pull them under the water and they hold their breath.

Its actually pretty cool. Look more into it, you'll be astounded.

  • @HimGuyOverThere Two words, dive reflex.

I really do worry for your kids if you have or will have any, being a strong swimmer is one of the most important safety nets you can have.

By the time my cousins and young brothers were 7 months old when they could swim unassisted (but watched of course) so next time they fall off a boat they won't die.

I've actually swam two miles to shore before, it's an extremely valuable skill to have.

Learn to raise kids THEN come back and teach.

  • Isn't this fake look at his neck <.<

  • @tori7022 It's a real baby....what you're seeing is a necklace lol

  • @xBuiltxForxSinx1 okay xD I wasn't sure.

  • @LucyPupster no it's not

  • what is tht around his neck?

  • @LucyPupster no its not

  • What the HELL is that on his neck~!!

  • cause thats safe

  • lol

  • the ass who took the baby underwater is a shit head!

  • @buddha1888 For teaching their child to swim to prevent drowning? Babies know how to hold their breath. It's instinct, not a learned ability. They're not even underwater for more then 3 seconds at a time anyways.

  • thats not a real baby

  • omgee he might die!

  • this is beautiful! I liv ein the USA and i am very happpy to see this.

  • Thats not child abuse or anything like that,Its just letting the baby know how to swim. And by all means, that baby probley already was getting the hang of swimming because she/he was moving its arms...so the baby probley already knew...ITS NOT CHILD ABUSE...Um if you had a house with an underground pool and you had a baby, would you want to put the baby in swimming lessons?Because if you dont the baby has no experience in swimming so the baby would drown!

  • Hiya...!

  • It will save their life if they fall into the water when nobody is around!

  • jajaja

  • lol he prob screamed the second his head came out of water

  • beep,beep!CHilD ABUSE!

  • Thats a real baby lol! look the baby blinks underwater and the baby moved his arm!

  • that looks like a doll to me....

  • omg that was a real baby!!!!!

  • the baby can open his eyes thts amazing!

  • cutie :D

  • My baby loves being underwater. It's great for them.

  • At least i can spell "you're"...

  • @surfingyogini with no capital I in that sentence :P

  • I wish my mom did it with me.Cuz when I was 11 I couldn't get any more scared to jump in teh deep water lol.

  • read more people, babies have the natural ability to hold their breath under water, they did it for nine months,if you swim with them, they don't loose that ability.

  • So thats y i cant breathe under water :(

  • Your stupid

  • i think it quit cruell coz they are forced into water

  • You're dumb. Swimming is a great exercise for babies.

  • i agree D:

  • I heard that in India, some babies are accually thrown off 50 foot roof tops down to a trampoline below. THAT'S CRAZY!

  • It's true. I saw it in an episode of Ripley's Believe it or Not. Pretty insane thing to do.

  • Congratulations on giving your baby a great start to life. I agree that early exposure to water is the best thing to give them water confidence and ensure that they don't panic if they do find themselves in an otherwise dangerous situation.

How good are teething necklaces?! My son has one too and it has been a godsend- 6 teeth and still no need for paracetamol.

    Go Ez!

  • I also have seen many people do this to help their babies become accustomed to being under water I think its good your teaching your child so young so they can swim and have a love not a fear of being under water =]

your clearly being responsible as you are holding the child and following guidelines so if you want to teach your child then go ahead I think its a good idea =]

  • i like your kids collar.

  • I am curious as to what that is on his neck however..?

  • I know how to swim because my mother did this with me : ) I've always been an excellent swimmer and never afraid of the water. But I also knew boundries.. I knew that I had to be careful and safe.. but I have always known how to swim since before I can remember because my mother did this.

  • Actually we were following guidelines given by an Austswim instructor. We gave him the same cues whenever he was in the bath or shower and water went over his head. So the theory is that it is reparing him to get his head wet and water in his eyes, this is actually quite an important step in learning to swim! I fail to see how my language "proves I am immature" but think that perhaps your "douche" comment speaks volumes about you...

  • dunking a little baby in water doesn't "teach" anything, the only thing it probably did was burn his little eyes..but I don't know everything. your language proves you are immature.. "douche" ha!

  • riiiiight, and if parents dunk their little babies in the water that young than when they drown less? suuurreee they do

  • What? teaching someone how to swim lowers their risk of drowning? Preposterous!

    douche.

  • NOOO WAT IFEEE DROWNEZZZZZ

  • NIRVANA - NEVERMIND :P hehehe

  • wats that on his neck?

  • I guess all of you who are commenting negatively are part of the reason why, in the USA, drowning is the second leading cause of unintentional injury-related death among children ages 1 to 14. In the states, children ages 4 and under have the highest drowning death rate and account for 80 percent of home drownings. These drownings typically occur in swimming pools and bathtubs. In Australia this rate is much lower BECAUSE WE TEACH SWIMMING FROM 6 MONTHS...

  • @surfingyogini Maybe because Usa has the most neclect and responsible parents who dont pay attention w.there kids, it could be anything!

  • @surfingyogini I have a 3 week old and I'm already thinking about starting to teach her this summer. Swimming is such a big part of the Australian culture, I think its essential to teach kids how to swim, specially about tides and rips when they're a little older.

  • i would never do that to my baby. they need to be freakin smart!!

  • @brandonpatterson08 this is a very smart thing to do if you teach you baby how to swim early it can help save there lives if they fall in to a pool/tub/deep water ...ext and you have to think it comes natural to them they lived in your belly for 9 months (in liquid)

  • rsrsrsrsrsr[

  • omg the babyy like drowned for like a second there lol

  • lol i know right dang it i was i can laugh right

    now :{

  • pero que lindo me vuelven loka

  • Silent Hill, I think it's a necklace.

And I think that baby is trying to breathe with her/his nose. It's breathing water! Ahhhhh scaryy

  • lol

  • whats ont he kids neck?

  • gills xD

  • well that kid is screwed

  • fine ill look away from u 2

  • There are people who give birth in water...Usually secondary or dry drowning only occurs if they almost drown and still have water in their lungs.

One of the swimming classes that I watched had them putting the infant underwater so it is not as bad as you might think.

Of course, you aren't going to keep them down for extended periods of time, just to get them used to the water so that they don't get afraid.

  • im not an expert on "babies swimming underwater" but i dont think its a harmless act and i think its a senseless thing to do.

  • I'm happy to see Parents getting their babies in the water before they forget how to hold their breath and swim. It comes naturally to them. Some Parents are freaked out to put their baby in the water and in return the baby gets freaked out!

  • wats around the babys nneck?

  • omg realax. It was cute. Please when i was a year old i fell into my ginormous pool.

  • WTF? They aren't drowning the kids, babies are use to being in the mothers stomache floating / being in fluid.

They naturally can breathe in water for some period of time.

  • that baby looks like it's drinking the water.

  • you can kill your kid like that! jeez!

  • wtf is wrong with you people putting babies underwater like that?! babies can hold their breath! i would never do that to my daughter..

  • Comment removed

  • you're only supposed to keep them on the surface, let them learn how to float and the swimming they will do by themselves, you're not supposed to push them underwater like that, they can't get the breathing right away and you can drown your child.

  • Stop to do this!

when i put your head Underwater for 3 min.. you will not like that... its the same for the baby!

  • it was like 2 seconds. chill out.

  • lol its something o his neck

  • babies have a natural ability to swim when they are young, its not gonna kill him, altho it does look disturbing to put the baby under water like that, i would never do it to any of my 3 children just incase something happend

  • wow thatz a Michael Phelps KILLER.

  • ok ppl who dont kno, babies for about 2-6 months have this weird thing that when they go underwater their lungs get cut off so they can breath underwater, then when they grow up its gone

  • EVERYONE HERE IS A FAKIN RETARD.Now lets see what babes breathed in their moms? water ofc so baby can dive very well...retards for life

  • POOR BABY! r u trying to kill him ima report yu!

  • Chill out, its a type of practice, jezz

  • what are they trying to do??????.... kill him? POOR BABY...

  • thats not true baby it looks like a doll

  • is that a real baby?

  • WTF...is wrong with the parents!!!

  • poor baby

  • cute :)

  • aw dats cute but werdi

  • nooooooooooo why are u doing that to that baby.

  • WHATS ON HIM A SHOCK COLLAR?

  • LMAO

  • hardly swimming but still cute :D

  • Thats weird because I remember giving birth to him and there was no-one other than my husband and I in the pool at the time I took it... Whose else would it be???

  • Lmao "Thats weird because I remember giving birth to him" ha ha not something u are likly to forget!! lol made me laugh!! :D

  • That baby is beautiful!

  • oh i got this straight from wiki

A baby cannot breathe underwater. In the womb they are breathing amniotic fluid, not water. They can still hold their breath underwater at birth for a limited time, unless the parents take them into water frequently after birth, or else they will lose this ability. But since they have to live on land, it's ok that they lose that ability. Humans are not meant to be sea creatures

  • chill, it was for what, two seconds? they're having fun with their baby, and it's very cute.

why must everyone find something wrong with a video? they post it for theirselves, not so you can comment it with something like this.

  • its a choke leash...nah just kidding its prob just some kind of necklace^^ at least i hope so.....

  • Nah, its an amber teething necklace... supposed to help with teething...

  • let me get this straight, a teething necklace? Was it the choker collection?

  • its britney

  • when babies are 1-17 mouths they can swim by there self its a ture fact

  • no wrong that baby cant die!!! they have a function in their brain that tells them to hold their breath!!!! dumbass go to school!!!

  • why it doesnt hurt them really...google it i swear i mean i looked it up myself because i was curious and it says since babies are born in the womb they are are able to swim but they 'unlearn' as they grow older....

  • not really. :/ they just kinda flaot around and by the time they take an intrest in kicking and maybe shifting around and stuff, the uterus is getting small for them.

  • I dont know about this baby swiming thing looks like alot of water the baby is swallowing and can possibly enter the lungs dont you people think?

  • they have something in there brain that tells them to hold there breath just like older people

  • Whats around his neck?

  • You quys are horrible lol why are you arquinq over a video? Immature idiots. qet a life and qet off the internet. You probably have collectors items of star wars or somethinq qay like that.

  • Thanks :)

    Haha, you rock too!!

  • you too :)

  • Back off she`s not putting up this video so

you can parent her! Like she`s not going to

let her child do anything,DO YOU WANT US TO

PUT HER/HE IN A BOX SO IT CAN BE SAFE FROM

ALL HARM! We all have to learn!

  • yeah so is your dad. idiot..

  • Tylerakid95

Your and idiot, take your fight somewhere else, not in this video. That goes for Rugrad2 as well.

  • The parents were were looking at Nirvana's album cover while stoned and came up with this great idea, lol.

  • cute..i wish i know how to teach my son how to swim... thanks for this short vid

  • No. Are you? Do you discriminate against people that ARE retarded? Do you realize that sentences begin with capital letters? Do you have nothing better to do than send people stupid comments on You-Tube? Do you have any friends? F*** off jack-ass.

  • I did NOT make that last comment! My daughter did! Which, in itself, is a good argument for drowning your kids! Just kidding! Lighten up people! :P

  • a child can drown in their sleep if they get water in their lungs during play time in the pool..even hours and hours later. these parents should be arrested for neglect.

  • You're right... I guess we should all just keep our children in bubbles so that they never come into contact with anything harmful! No going near any sort of water, ever (god forbid kids playing in the bath!). No playing with pets, they might, one day, bite. No running, they may fall over (definitely NO jumping). No eating anything, they may choke. No bikes, pogo sticks, hula hoops, elastics, skateboards... Way too dangerous!

You're not a parent are you...

  • the baby is very cute....nice swimmer..

  • aww thats soo cute

  • why was it so short

  • I don't think its considered swimming if the baby is being held onto.

  • wats a underwater Ez!

  • I"ve read that newborns and infants instinctively know how to hold their breathe underwater and how to swim (to the surface at least).

  • the baBy was even blinking its eyes he is real!

  • that baby is real u morons! he had a neckles on maybe u guys need glasses or something!

  • wtf is a neckle?

  • i said neckles but i meant to say necklace on

  • Can I just tell you that when I read this I literally burst out laughing all alone in my bedroom? I really think it's the funniest thing I've ever read in my whole life lol. Sadly, I'm still laughing about it. But thanks for the laugh!

  • dude thats not even a real baby its head was cut off well looked like it forreal

r u ppl stupid that baby aint real

  • i would say 250 babies drown per year as a result of bad parenting.

but i'm simply playng devils advocate now.

  • :-) Guess that makes me a good parent then!!! Thanks!

  • where and how could a young baby be exposed to large bodies of water?

But hey lets not worry, dragging babies underwater is good youtube material!

  • More than 250 people drown in Australia each year (mostly in Queensland and Western Australia). The vast majority of these drownings are children aged 0-4. I don't want my child to become a statistic.

  • i don't want to sound pedantic. but your baby isn't swimming.

the video shoud be called "Baby draggged underwater by retard parent"
