  • This was originally released in January 1963- Daws Butler initially used his patented North Carolina drawl for the "Wolf" in Tex Avery's "Droopy" cartoons at MGM in the '50s...then as Hanna-Barbera's "Huckleberry Hound"...and during the '60s, as "Smedley" in these Chilly cartoons...

  • That dog sounds EXACTLY like Huckleberry Hound! I also know that Jack Hannah had spent much time at Disney as the animator and then director for many cartoons with Donald Duck.
