nakakatouch tlga ang movie na ito. I watch this with my classmates sa AVR nmin sa skul. At first hindi ako umiyak kasi nahihiya ako hehe!!! :D gi fast forward nmin kasi wla nang time haha :D ngunit pag-play ko ulit ng videong ito naiyak na ako!!!!!!!!! LIKE KO TO!

I've watched this movie a few years ago and seen it several times (played it over and over again til it expired). It was featured in the "World Cinema" category of our cable provider. It's very nice! I was shocked when Popoy appeared then cried after hehe

Yes, you are right. This film won various awards but that was after the film was recognized internationally. If this film did not make it in the international screen, will our local film festivals give credit to this movie? I don't think they will. Coz for me our movie here is a very "star-oriented" system. Meaning kung walang sikat na artista na bibitaw ng magagandang lines that film will not be given any credit..

Above all, this film is a reality!

If I were not mistaken this fil was an entry for a local film festival in our country but was rejected.. Badly, these people behind local film festival can't really appreciate the real meaning and beauty of a film. Eventhough there is no big star on this film, I am realy very proud of this film.. CONGRATS EVERYONE!

i think gil portes won a best director for this film in a local award giving body. i'm just not sure what award giving body was that. and if i remember correctly, the kid also won the best child actor on the same award giving body.

This is one of my favorite movie. I watched this film for several times pero hndi ako nagsasawa.. More than the art this film was well crafted by Sir Gil Portes. This film has a small voice but with a big heart. It is very humble yet delivered strong message to its viewer. No wonder this film catched the viewer internationally. Superb and intelligent!!

i agree! gil portes did a great job in this one. iwas captivated not by the acting of the actors but of the story line and the dialogues that are truly pinoy in nature. this really is a humble film full of heart!
