This gig was basically a load of shite, never seen Propagandhi until then and they weer amazing till all this kicked off. I came from Sunderland too...

To be fair, if what has been said about the venue giving it the all clear is true... then i bet if people didn't shout a load of utter bollocks to the security/police we would of got back in.

what did you make of the gig (before the fire alarm) ? I hadn't seen them before, so hard to compare.

i'd not seen propagandhi previously to this, but i thought they were fucking amazing! such a big sound, and powerful vocals. i found a review of someone who met the band that night, apparently the fire service had said it was safe to go back in, it was just the security staff stopping everyone. i bet its because they didnt give us a stamp or ticket stubbs when we went in. Bastards!

yeah... I heard that even venue management were about to give the all-clear, but that by then security and plod had already decided to disperse everyone. There may have been licensing probs if they let everyone back in. I'm a bit surprised the band haven't said/done anything about it... it's a bit lame of them. Guys next to me had travelled hours from Scotland.
