It's probably because Lit didn't receive as much promotional push behind the album this song came off of. They fell off the map for a while after "A Place in the Sun"(released in 1999).I guess when they tried to make a comeback a few years later with their self titled album in 2004, they had little success with it. Plus, this video probably didn't get heavy rotation on MTV or VH1 like with the band's previous videos.

I forgot to mention their 2001 album "Atomic," but only yielded one Top 10 single with "Lipstick and Bruises." Since 2006, Lit has been keeping a low profile, performing just a few shows here and there, but nothing really major.

I don't know about that. But the brand of alternative rock that was popular in the 90's sort of lost its edge sometime after the turn of the century as bands like Marvellous 3, Ultimate Fakebook, Our Lady Peace, and even The Smashing Pumpkins either fell off the map "or" called it quits. The latter band reformed, but it's with mostly new members from what I understand.

There's only a few popular rock bands that began in the 90's that are still making huge hits today. Among the list are Foo Fighters, Incubus, Radiohead, Weezer, and Sevendust. A great majority of the rest are either MIA, independent, or have former members involved in other projects.
