I have the WH1081 for a year now. It defiantly needs maintenance and attention. Consider one as a learning tool and garden furniture.
If you get them cheap enough they are fine, if you are a keen weather enthusiast, save for another year and get the Davis

not bad i got the same thing. the only this that piss me of is how long it takes to update the LCD my take 5 min but for only $100-00 i got what i paid for
