  • the catholic church DOES NOT teach the apostles traditions, for one is BAPTISM. the apostles baptized in JESUS name, NOT father, so holyghost.

  • Oh, yea the Church does. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20: "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."

  • SeptemberCatholic18,

Thank you once again... for being so humble when presenting your arguments.... every video has helped me big time understan the Catholic Church... it's so sad that the protestant "church" don't even bother to research the facts and yet... they dare to make assumptions!! THANK YOU AND MAY GOD KEEP BLESSING US WITH YOUR GOOD WORK... AMEN!!

  • Great job SeptemberCatholic 18, we need more people like you to stand up for the catholic church, God's church which jesus had established 2000 years ago and hell shall not prevail against it. keep up the good job

  • It was guided by MEN !!! The holy spirit does not exist or he should have popped down to tell the papacy off for not speaking out against Hitler ?

Its all tradition, and pagan at that. Show me christmas in the bible?

  • The Church did not speak out against Hitler because, hmm, maybe the Vatican was surrounded by Italian Nazis?

Most of the work we did against Hitler and for the Jews happened in secret; and there is great documentation to show that. Today, the Church certainly condemns everything that the Nazis did.

Christmas was instituted by the Catholic Church to replace the pagan winter solstice celebration; thus it was actually anti-pagan, not pagan.

This video was not aimed at atheists. PM me for that.

  • So would they not have been better to speak out and actually excommunicate some ???? I mean what were they afraid of, they are going to heaven right ?? Martyr to the cause??

There were plenty of people helping the those poor people but some did it out of humanist compassion.

And it didn't replace pagan traditions it embraced them. Like I said its tradition and most of it is in Direct opposition to your cannon. Be not like the heathen ??

  • Excommunication is the separation of a person from the Catholic Church. Every single Nazi separated themselves from the Church; in essence, they excommunicated themselves.

In case you forgot, the Vatican is located in Italy, one of the Nazi states at the time. If the Church spoke out publicly against the Nazis, no doubt the Nazis would have destroyed the Vatican and sent millions of Catholics to the slaughter.

Christmas replaced a pagan holiday with a Christian one. That is totally anti-pagan.

  • Yes to the slaughter and back to your god. Its sun worship (son) to you. If it is not mandated in your book its not a Christian holy day. Its pagan through and through, or is it just coincidence that their sun died for three days before being resurrected for the new year. Candles, idols, gift giving are all pagan and were their for years before they hijacked them for political means. You need to wake up and grow up. Its a story that lead to the formation of Fascism by a priest no less !

  • Once again, Christmas was created to combat a pagan holiday. How can that be pagan? It is, in its truest essence, anti-pagan!

I believe that the Catholic Church is given full authority to speak on behalf of Jesus Christ. So if the Church makes Christmas a holiday, it might as well be in Scripture.

You have obviously been watching too much zeitgeist. That video has so many factual blunders I find it amazing that anyone who considers themselves intelligent can actually reference it.

  • no fewer than 14 attempts were made to come up with a canon prior to the athanasian festal letter and all were different fom the council's list in 382 a.d. No person catholic or otherwise can no what books belong in the bible without the decisions of the church.

  • Wisely put.

  • You speak the truth.

    Thank you for this Video.

    God be with you.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it. If you liked this one, I suggest you also watch my other video titled, "The Bible: A Brief History." It follows the history of the Bible and briefly highlights the Church's role in its assembly.

You can find it on my featured videos page. The quality of that video is way better than this one.

  • thanks for the information....Sept.....

  • Revalation>? is that what it's called now in the NEW ORDER alleged "Church"? I see you would debate? Lets debate if Benedict is a heretic and a anti pope....

  • Let me begin by first off saying that I am Roman Catholic, subject to Pope Benedict XVI, the Holy Father under God.

I'm not exactly sure what your angle is. You appear to be a member of SSPX. If so, you have no reason to oppose this video since it refers to the Catholic Church in the early centuries.

If you're not Catholic, then I'm sorry to tell you that I am citing facts in this video. If you would like to see my sources, I can gladly provide them.

  • SpetemberCatholic, why haven't you added this video as a response to Zkueker88's video yet? You know, where when watching his viedo people would see a thumbnail of your video in the "video responses" section underneath?

If you did this, MANY MANY viewers of Zkueker's would afterwards watch this awesome presentation of yours. I highly suggest doing so!

Thanks for the awesome presentation and I can't wait to watch more of your work.

  • Unfortunately, Zkueker88 had repeatedly rejected my video-response requests. All his videos are set so that anyone wishing to respond with a video must be given the "green light" first.

He had even promised me a debate. I made the opening video and he, well, never responded. He has also done this to another user: onetruechurch.

  • wonderfull video! God bless you...

  • some of zacks thoughts are not his own. he simply takes credit for matt slicks ideas.

  • This is a very convincing video,a real booster. One of the greates work of the Catholic Church had become the source of their faith(Bible)how can they hate us.

  • The Catholic Church Is 'THE CHURCH'.

Long live The Catholic Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it as Jesus said, because it is guided by The Holy Spirit.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Welldone and God bless †

  • I must say this is my personal favorite video, or perhaps it is tied with the Purgatory video, I have now seen all of your videos, and I still enjoy watching them over to strengthen my knowledge. Only a very stubborn Christian could watch your videos through and still be a non-catholic (at least I beleive that to be true) =-)

  • Glad you think so. There will be more to come. Also, I'm writing a book, so maybe I'll be able to send you the draft before it's done. (It might not be done for another 6 months, but when it is, it will answer EVERYTHING.)

  • Thank God! Writing a book is exactly what you should do! You deliver the word of God in a way for all to understand, and you are straight-forward. I anticapte its arrival.

  • Thanks. Until then, I recommend catholic(dot)com.

  • I'm definately buying your book! You are one of my favorite apologists.

  • Good job at putting your information forth in a positive way and respecting everyone's beliefs.

I still would like to say that, at least when I was a Catholic, they did believe that doing good works could get you into heaven. That's what Zack meant when he said works righteous salvation. I don't know if that's how all of the catholic churches teach, but that's how the church that I was a part of taught.

  • It must have been just your church. Works-only salvation is a heresy which has been condemned by the Church since its beginning.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church maintains the importance of faith: CCC 15, 124, 161, 169, 183, (other passages speak on this as well, but these will be sufficient).

Remember, the Catechism spells out what all Catholics believe. And it specifically states that salvation is a progress initially obtained through faith, which is fulfilled by good works (James 2).

  • OMG ZACK RATED THIS MOVIE 1 STAR!1!

    But seriously, good video.

  • Thanks.

  • Good job! I'd cool down a little on the insulting of Protestants, but that's not a big problem.

  • First of all, thank you.

Secondly, I'm not trying to insult anybody. I'm just trying to correct those who are making false claims, especially about the Church.

I usually just send the person a message correcting them on the matter, but I felt that this issue needed to be widely addressed.

  • Mkay. Great job!

  • great vid nice job God Bless you

  • We are all one church in Christ. Can you guys start acting like a family?Catholic, protestant, baptist, watever it is we are all saved by the love of God,a gift to be saved. Those of us who accept that gift should stop claiming to be the only ones saved,it is not by works but through faith, and faith comes from him.

  • I rarely see vids of Catholics attacking other christian, unlessin retaliation, attacking is not a Catholic instinct. How the protestant make their stand w/o proving first that Catholics r wrong, while Catholics can just work its way thru w/o stepping on others name.

  • awesome job September catholic. God Bless you!
