This is a Schindler elevator. There is no doubt in my mind. That is Schindler's exclusive arrow for the elevator. Also, it has the notorious non-functional door-close AND it only shows the arrow when the elevator is in motion, which is obviously a Schindler controller. By the way, those are Innovation Bruiser buttons.

I never saw the hydraulic piston BESIDE the cab. I always see they UNDER the cab. The "Door Close" button works but ONLY when the elevator is in manual mode. In that mode you must hold it until the door closes completely and the car starts moving. The door remains open and the car cannot be summoned at that time. This mode is usually for movers. Perhaps they forgot the couch.
