I've seen several different ways to throw a knuckleball, and to actually be good at it you need to find a grip that works for you and practice it a lot. I throw mine knuckleball similar to this guy's, except instead of putting my fingers tips into the ball I put my knuckles where he has his finger tips. My pinky is in the same spot (for stablization as he said) and I have my thumb is on the side of the ball, instead of the bottom of the ball.

@DGLL98 knuckle ball is fairly obvious over a curve a knuckle ball has little to no spin where gravity and lack of spin cause the movement so it just dies in the ass where a curve ball has a massive amount of spin which causes it to drop like doing a top spin shot in table tennis it looks like it just drops off the table

it was a good tip for starting out but I throw mine with my knucles not nails i have as much break but without the speed and if you do it that way then it can be a very good offspeed pitch

this dude is so full of shit, use your fingertips to give the ball topspin and throw it just like a fastball with backspin. when you give the ball topspin and backspin guess what happens? no spin! also, digging your nails into the ball works really well, i throw mine from multiple arm slots to change the movement my ball gets.

@TheFaDedLegend well yes and no. it depends on how hard you can throw it. if you can throw it hard ( like 67-75) then you can get away with some spin. but if you are throwing about 55 then you will need no spin. i say max 1/4 spin would be ok with throwing 55

I throw it with all four fingers and its work better i think because the whole point of the knuckle ball like he said is to not spin and the reason for this is because all the ball travels it actual makes like a shaking movement if throw correctly, because the wind hits the seam and gives it the movement, while the ball doesnt spin

This what I like about baseball. It might not be an aggressive sport like football, but all the different variations of pitches is what makes the sport. In football, you just kick, pass, catch, tackle, and dump gatorade over a coach. 10 years later, they're stuck home with brain damage.
