I cannot put into words how I feel when I hear this song. Nostalgia and smiles. This game will be in my library again. What a fool I was to let a friend's acquaintance "borrow" it. I was also 13 at the time. Life was so good back then.

@DoomsdayOdd Just looked them up. They were called Territorial Oaks and they always exploded at the end of the battle after defeating them. You might've gotten lucky and missed them if you went through Peaceful Rest Valley really fast. One of easiest places to die in the game IMO since you only have Ness.

@AmericanVideoGames In my opinion, Mother 3 is so much superior to Earthbound in every way. From that certain event in the beginning of the game to the end of the story, I've discovered happiness, loneliness, anger, hatred and sadness; all in one tight cartridge.

After so many entries, I don't really have much more to say about the amazing Earthbound. I really liked all the towns in this game, they all had their own feel and atmosphere. Twoson felt like a really relaxing and peaceful city, riding your bike, checking out the big stores or the markets outside in the sun. Oh, and hippies.

@naruto987112 what is truly sad about the whole thing is that, it's probably never gonna be re-released in ANY format since there would be a metric shitload of legal problem concerning the soundtrack, since lots of it is "inspired" to downright the same as real life songs. you can still get the roms though its not the same experience :(
