  • How come genres like rap and hip-hop have become dominant in the last 10 or 15

years? Where have our ears for good music gone?

  • A very pretty song from the girls who gave us 'Mr. Sandman' & 'Lollipop'.Nice to hear this one again--I missed it terribly! Thanks partner!

  • Beautiful blending of very good, well-matched voices. Nice! I agree, it was catchy the way they sang the word "see-eee-cret" Thanks for posting.

  • Very charming photos to match this very beautiful song. Nice creative job!

  • Very clever video. And the Chordettes, as usual, are supurb. Thank you.

  • Nice homemade video : gentle lyrics, cute pictures, plenty of natural feelings _ Just hapiness! What else!

Thanks you & regards from romantic PARIS

  • Great "old time" song and group.

  • I remember listening to this song late at night on my tinny transistor radio. Great song and your video was just...perfect. Thanks!

  • Heard this on XM tonight...great group , song and video. Thank you!

  • ba da da da da.

  • Thanks for posting this one. Great tune.

  • your welcome vinylsingleman

  • Have always loved this bouncy little tune with the cute (but not 'cutesy') lyrics. It tells a simple and charming story and the ensemble performance of the Chordettes is superb, as usual. Their singing style is so similar to that of the Maguires that it would have been interesting to see the 2 groups perform together, perhaps sharing a medley of the hits of each. Just a thought.

  • I remember and love this song from my childhood ,glad you liked

  • It just occurred to me, after hearing this (yet) again and noting your comment above about the word 'See-ee-cretly', that you might also enjoy hearing the big hit by Jimmie Rogers, (same year) called 'Secretly'. It was/is another delightful and romantic tune.

  • Ahh romance ,does it still exist in this younger generation ? .Thanks iotbs7 ,I like that song ,very similar in style and sentiments.

  • It does :) Not as much as earlier tho.

  • @iotbs7 hey ty a lot but i have everything jimmie rogers ever recorded , that is one of my favs, though, another great talent and loss. did you know his entire name is jimmie rodgers snow. hank snow was a great freind of the old jimmy rogers from the 50ties he named his son after him, have a great day

  • @iotbs6 I am not too sure that the Chordettes and McGuire sisters would have been very musically compatible as the Chordettes harmonies had its roots in barbershop music while the McGuire Sisters were more of a close harmony group more like that of the Andrews Sisters or the Fontaine Sisters. It may be noted that the Chordettes and McGuire Sisters both had strong ties to Arthur Godfrey and would have had many opportunities to perform together if they had chosen to do so.
