  • Ha ha. I get annoyed with extreme fanatical people, who blow up minutia to make up grand conspiracies in their head. These people aren't dumb, not crazy? What makes them do this? I think ego. They like the idea they, only they know something no one else does. Of course what they know is ridiculous, silly and ultimately an epic logical failure and failure to understand God and his Holy Word. God is not weak. We're assured we have his message. To confront these people is an affront to their ego.

  • @gmcjetpilot Oh, agreed! I was just now viewing HIGH SCHOOL Latin and Greek texts which were routinely used in America last century. New York, imposed a 4-year Latin program: I have its dictionary, dated 1919! Many other books like that, for other states.

Hamilton's interlinear on Cicero (dated 1885) has a preface explaining that if you spoke the language to the CHILD, he'd learn it as easily as English.

So what did we stop doing? Yeah, baby, not merely ego, but LAZINESS!

  • I.m sorry I wrote you're videos' are full of it.

I'm sure they are not, which is why I was watching.

But I am sad at you're attitude, as I beleive you would want to call youreself a christian.

Do you recodnise any of these values in you're actions to me?

I who have merely been introduced to this subject through Lipringers work and am just looking for a broader perspective.

To be met by anger, hate and predudice?

Can you really call that Christian?

  • And I guess evidentaly why you wouldnt want me to go through you're videos' for evidence against Riplinger, is just because their full of it!

  • Lady, I've even seen you in a video pushing the old Blavastky Satan, Advasary Lightbringer line!!!

So I suppose you're gonna next tell me you beleive in the Maitreya!

  • And I could go on,but I'll keep watching you're videos but I feel you're, what I can only call basesless charracter attacks on Christians and Riplinger does you a disservice.

  • I'd really prefer you didn't watch my videos, Amarx00. But it's a free Youtube. I just won't answer you anymore.

I can spend five minutes typing a comment to an apostate believer, or five minutes studying God's Word better. I opt for the latter. Good bye.

  • @brainouty

You're anger and hate towards Christians is palpable!

I pray it does not consume you.

You must not argue with people a lot, or must be afraid to tackle my points, but here they are again...

Riplinger points to very specific and deliberate changes in scripture... are these all false? What say you of the context?

And did you not say that because of the complexity of the word is why we need pastors?

Which of course is the opposite to what jesus said...

  • And I have to say an overwhelming feeling of hate from you towards... Christians?!?

    I'snt that strange?

But I think you saying people are not Christians till they learn the original hebrew is known as Fundimientalist or even extreme fundimentalist christianity.

Which is what I know to be the literal interpritation of the bible....

Are you really saying to people that the path is that narrow?

  • 'But I think you saying people are not Christians till the learn the original Hebrew' -- I never said that, Amarx00. So now you are lying.

I said people who are Christians SHOULD LEARN the words GOD wrote, not a translation. But you reverse what was said, because you wanted to do that. Thus you prove no Spirit in you, because the Spirit knows what was said, versus your claim here.

  • I say that because I know in myself I am not afraid of the truth and my faith in God is strong.

It is just that I was being open minded and trying to watch through you're playlists to see if you have any information that would make me reevaluate her work...

Sadly I must say so far nothing yet, ror you seem not to adress the fundimental arguments that she puts forward, which us about the types of manipulations and why... yu dont even mention ommitions from versions.

  • Yeah, Amarx00, you really should say nothing, as the robot videos rebut and prove Riplinger a liar, point by point.

Do your homework before you make claims. Riplinger doesn't, you don't, you are just as much a jackass as she is, so long as you don't.

Use 1John1:9 or else you will be very embarrassed at the BEMA (a GREEK word which KJVO use, lol).

  • Wow, I'm not sure how to take this.

I have had a lot of time for Gail Riplingers work and I wouldnt not have put myself in the, 'KJV Only Camp' till watching you're videos it seems you have already put me there!

  • Good, Amarx00 -- if you are so stupid and fond of lies that you think a woman who calls the Titanic proof of the NIV being spawned of Satan -- you can hear jackass Riplinger say that in her own voice, in an interview, just look up DrOakley's Riplinger videos -- if you can stand such tripe, get away from me.

I have enough trouble with other idiots. Hope I encouraged you to never visit again.

  • Here's the link, Amarx00, to the aforesaid video. watch?v=WNyH5A_OZs8

You'll think it wise, of course, since you have no Spirit in you.

  • The Bible is true

    Christianity is NOT

  • im laughing at this guy saying "the KJV is supernatural"

but unfortunately, in this day, people seem to believe anything.

    God Bless

  • Peter Ruckman professes that the KJV translators were little more than people taking dictation from God himself... *groan* and a lot of people follow him and Gail Riplinger :/

  • lol good video.

    but its making me think.

which one is God's word then?

    do we not know?

how do we know what is God's word?

  • A. The original words God gave to each writer have to be God's Words. That was the point of the video. It's not about one language being superior to another, but about WHICHEVER language the original words were given.

That being said, the promise then is that those VERY SAME WORDS are preserved. So if Christ said something in Greek, His Very Words are preserved. If Moses originally wrote in Hebrew, those words are preserved. Etc. (Cont. in B.)

  • B. So then: God's promise is that those same words exist today, as when originally given. That's why we can have translations: we have the original words.

Now, as you'd suspect, those Words have been attacked ever since they were given. So lots of people claim that the original-language text copies we have, aren't valid. But all you need to do is use 1John1:9 and ask God about the Words you are reading. He'll enable you to learn the words. Then you will know.

  • yea but what I'm sayin is, we do not have the originals right? just copies of the originals? and aren't those copies not even complete copies?bits and pieces put together make full?

so then God's preserved word can not be found in 1 text? if God's word can not be found in just 1 text then there is no way we could ever know what God's word is, because you can't compare 'non God's word' with 'non God's word' and say its God's word. pick and choose 1 word from 1 text and another from another text

  • We have well over 30,000 copies. They have been found, collated, and amalgamated. For every verse, there will be many copies which are right, and some that are miscopied. God's Word thus is still preserved, just as He promised it would be.

He didn't promise that it would be preserved in ONE copy. He didn't promise that it wouldn't be attacked. He didn't promise that people would take care of it. Now, all those copies constitute a witness better than if there were one whole copy. Ask Him why.

  • so I guess I'm just wondering, does God promise to preserve His word and it is up to us and the Holy Spirit to learn 2 new languages and find it amongst the thousands of copies.

because if I'm reading something that is tainted with a little poison, that ruins it all I want nothing to do with 'God's Word mixed with poison' but then I look at the alternative, and there is no definitive God's Word.

  • God's Word in your mouth is at times misstated, no? But sometimes pure, no? So should you be avoided?

Think of the condition of this Word trashed and mashed yet still preserved, as proving that He can remake you, leaving all your remaining 'poison' intact at the same time, gradually removing it from you.

I attest that every time I open up those languages I'm caused by God to read them, and know which words are His. You can test this claim in your own soul. Try it.

  • and yeah I agree God would preserve His word in the original words given. but it seems unlogical and rediculous to say that no one knows what God's word is. we must always pick and choose from texts and no one is ever on same page. never have 1 source of authority.

yes, we must have Holy Spirit guide us, but we still never would have 1 sole source of God's word

  • God is the One Authority. He knows which words are His. And that's the beauty of this thing. You have to keep ASKING God as you read for validation. Aha, you must fellowship with Him directly, then. Get His Witness as you learn the words, and as you learn the verses.

If you only had one copy someone ALLEGED perfect, you'd have no way to test that, and you'd not think you needed to test it.

  • The SDA people invented the claim that the KJV translation was inspired. Did you know that? King James and the translators said the translation was NOT inspired. Wouldn't they know?

And who do you trust? Only God is trustworthy. Ask Him, use 1John1:9 and test the claim.

  • Yes, LOLFunny, it's well worth the trouble when you realize you are learning the same words as He did, reading the same real words He spoke. Best of all, the witness of the Spirit (remember when you quoted the witness verse?) is very strong.

And honestly it's no effort to learn. Just learn the words as you go along. Two suggestions:

    1) E-sword. Free software. Be sure to download the BDB + Thayer lexicons, Heb and Greek texts. They have KJV, so keep using that too. (Cont.)

  • 2) ask God who's the right pastor for you. Many pastors have ministries online which take you verse by verse through the Bible in the original-language texts. Or, teach in a church nearby.

People will tell you that getting under a pastor online is bad. No it's not: if you are learning the WORD. The Bible injunction to "assemble yourselves" is for getting WORD, not social life with other Christians.

  • Try this experiment: go to my SatStrat2(dot)htm and then scroll down to the Genesis videos. Watch the second one in full screen, follow the Hebrew. See how easy it is to learn and remember, as you go through that video and then the others.

So it's not like those weird language classes in school. You're learning God's Words one by one in a relevant manner, verse by verse. Using 1Jn1:9 meanwhile, Holy Spirit causes you to recall the words and know them, principle of John 14:26. :)

  • Weird language classes in school... I've been taught french for years in school, yet, I know NOTHING. Best way to learn is self-learning.

  • XD his tennis racket glitches through the bench! great video!

    god bless!

  • yeah, i noticed that too, 0doubt. Strange, huh.:)

  • Who exactly are you portraying in this video?

  • I don't know, Psalm1267. One is the KJV-only guy, and the other one is an older fella who gently tries to get the KJV-only guy to wake up and smell the coffee.

I didn't have any specific people in mind.

  • I was wondering because I know some KJV-only people, and I've never heard them make all the ridiculous claims that yours does. You must have gotten your information from somewhere???

  • Psalm1267, yes, I got them from KJV-only people on Youtube. Sorry but I won't name names.

  • Can you provide links to their videos? Otherwise it looks like you are making unfounded accusations and misrepresenting the KJV-only position.

  • I won't name names, Psalm1267, as that violates Matt7:1-5. Instead, we are to debate, account, disclose PRINCIPLES in Bible. When a person is too stubborn (we all get like that, it's our sin nature), at most the person is warned to use 1John1:9, + Titus 3:5. Then one walks away.

KJV-only people are a new group, universally claim the KJV a perfect translation. That arrogant claim is proven untrue for centuries, even by King James & translators of the KJV. So the claim must be countered.

  • If they are publicly making their claims on youtube, then how can it be a sin to name them? It's not like you are revealing a big secret or hanging them up for something they have already repented of. If they have posted videos, then they are willing to be known.

  • Psalm1267, just search on "KJV only" in Youtube. There's nothing said in my video which is unfounded. You can also Google on "KJV only" and get the same information. You can also look at the comments to my "KJV only Satan's Favorite Lie", and see some of the tenor of that. And, you can ask Dremias5545 for more information.

KJV only is a pox in all its forms. God's Words were not given in English. Even the dumbest person can see that. But a carnal person, cannot.

  • But non-KJB people get so many things wrong (that's my ONLY complaint). This video was amusing though, the juxtaposition of the inevitable rising "God has to preserve the original words," translating isn't preserving. rewriting isn't preversing. King James used the Greek and Hebrew texts - so that's good enough for me. King James actually favoured latin; especially to use against the "papists" (in that case cardinal Bellarmine - who he had to apologize to I think, Bellarmine was a baby).

  • ChristKeep, I often prefer the KJV myself. But there is a 50% meaning loss in any translation. Vital context & parameters of a doctrine are LOST in translation.

For example, you can't fully prove faith alone permanently saves, can't prove Rapture, can't prove God imputes the soul at birth (not before), can't prove the Earth was RESTORED in six days -- from translations. One reason why, is that verb TENSE links in Hebrew & Greek are unlike English.

Many false doctrines stem from translations.

  • This should be on ditching "translations" altogether. Switching from the KJB to the NIV doesn't really improve much... if anything, it's a step backwards.

  • Well, ChristKeep, God is gracious. Every translation has something it does better than the others. NIV shines in two ways: 1) it's less afraid to admit a previous mistranslation, & 2) it captures Bible's sarcasm and emotion better, esp. for whole chapters.

So if you want a well-rounded idea of what God means but wish translations, COMBINE the KJV and the NIV together. Or, NASB and NIV together.

After the NIV, something went very wrong in Bible translations.

  • oh my, they go around in circles!

  • Yeah, well the older guy (with the racket) was trying to be kind, but the younger one wasn't 'getting it'. :)

  • Brainy I have a question. At about 3:00 in the video did I hear that Christ wrote part of the bible?

    Is that correct?

  • crossoldman, it comes off like that owing to the voice tone. I meant it in the figurative sense that Christ's Own Words were recorded. I don't know how to fix the video to show the intonation we'd all recognize when something is meant figuratively. :)

  • Crossoldman, Bible claims to be the thinking of Christ in 1Cor2:16, "Word of the Lord" attestations, Heb4:12, Eph4:13, 2Pet3:18, many other verses.

That's why we Christians are so annoying when we quote Scripture. :) We're supposed to train in God's Thoughts, 1Cor13 and Isaiah 55.

So ALL of the Bible is claimed to be from Christ. That was the promise, to get His Head in Our heads, 'the New Covenant' prophecy beginning back in Jeremiah 31:31-34 (see Heb8:8-12 thru 10:17).

    I'll shut up now. :)

  • Having watched a fair number of your videos I just wasn't sure what was said and how you meant it.

It didn't sound like something you would say and after replaying it several times I just wasn't sure. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • Thank YOU for bringing it up, crossoldman. When I finished the movie, I worried it would sound like a claim that Christ Himself wrote the words. You noticed it.

Bible records His Words but He didn't write them in His Humanity -- and why? Preference for others testifying TO Him, independently. So we can all fight over those words. :)

  • LOL

  • What's so odd about the KJV-only claim, is that it's EXACTLY THE SAME as the Muslim claim about the Bible, EXACTLY THE SAME as the Mormon claim about the Bible, EXACTLY THE SAME as some Catholic claims about the Bible (basis for the need to have a pope), EXACTLY THE SAME as those who disbelieve in Bible (i.e., atheists, people of non-Christian or non-Jewish faiths).

All that SAMENESS, the same allegation through the centuries, and the KJV-only people don't realize they're being duped?

  • For to claim the Bible is corrupted in its original-language texts is to claim we have NO Word of God. So the verbatim sameness means Satan's behind the claim. Yet the KJV-only people are blind to all that. Amazes me.

  • You know when i use online bible sources it shows all the versions, i check the most common ones out so I get a better understanding of the kjv one. I have enough trouble conversing with anyone not familiar with Aussie lingo let alone old english. Although i was born there but dont think London cockney counts hahahh

  • Now it's my turn to say LOL. I have a great deal of difficulty understanding Aussie English, though I love the sounds.

  • I wonder how well the British understood King James' scottish accent -- that and coupled with his oversized tongue in which he drooled everywhere and slurred. If James "drooled" (kissed) on you, it would be considered a great honour. I'll pass for a handshake.
