it would be cheaper to buy a battery then to create a hydrogen storage system, plus it would be super super explosive and prone to leaks. its an awesome concept but with current technology its not practical.
isnt the trouble effeciency? solar pannel 10% hydrogen production proberably about the same?? doest that make the who process about 1% efficeint? or do you get no losses converting it back using a fuel cell? or is that another loss?
if i had like a copper coil and a magnet on the back wheel and generate electricity while i coast and pedal then use that electricity to split the water could i burn the hydrogen in a small 2 stroke engine with out blowing myself up?
thats a great idea get rid of the batterys which i imagine costs millions and mabey even billions and by storing energy in the hydrogen is the best way to do it to unlike a battery losing its charge after a whiel but the hydrogen never will there for making this much more effecient since energy can not be created or destroyed you make electricity into hydrogen and the hydrogen back into electricity
It gives one hope and the vision to see a path to a sustainable future. Instructional videos like this should be televised for the masses as well as part of mandatory education. Perhaps we can still save ourselves before we completely destroy our environment. Thank you for effort.
if i were to try to heat my home with hydrogen i would use up some oxygen and make water. would my house humidity get too high for comfort and allow mold growth?
You are right. But regular gasoline may have the same problem in a car accident, however it doesn't stop people from using cars. Zeppelins used H2 before and after several accidents people dropped that idea. Though it doesn't mean that H2 should be avoided as a power storage.
I love this. Many of my friends ask me how I expect these cells to be safe and efficient, now I can send then here! For some reason, I don't seem to be able to explain it as well.
amazing video.....still gets dislikes.....people are crazy or what?

id imagine this could also be used for wind?

However, they need to make more dense cells.

how will the energy produced by a solar panel vary according to the sunshine intensity?

Beautiful videos. Gives me hope for the future of alternative fuel, the less of our dependence on foreign oil and benefit for the environment.

Since hydrogen gas is so combustible, how are vehicles made safe so that the hydrogen gas doesn't explode in a car accident?
