I would get this. I bought the Pod X3 and had to return it the next day because none of the software that came with it recognized it. But either way even if it's just for practice I'd go with this.

I have both a VAMP-Pro and a POD X3 Live and a Spider Jam. The Behringer can put out some very nice sounds - he's just got too much delay. I used the Behringer for practice because I kept the POD at the church.  Now that I have the Spider Jam, I don't use the Behringer much any more. The POD X3 Live is superior, however.

u can only use the v-amp 2 without an amp wit ear phones in. if u didnt use an amp owd did u do it

It has 2 1/4" outs. You can place it in front of an amp.
