  • OMG! The pilot missed a runway........ if i was on that airplane....... :0000

  • The pilot was playing GTA SA.

  • Imagine the people on the plane!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I would not like to be in!!!!!!

  • good pilot

  • Well that looked like some extreme weather alright, but there was certainly no crash and no landing. Way to be a faggot and name ur vid just to get more views. Thumbs down sir.

  • @jyell31 what's with the sir?

  • see no crash ,freak!

  • Filmed with a Potato HD again?

  • Bad pilot.

  • @rutgerrogier3 Great Pilot.

  • ooooh neee, das ging beinaaaaa in die hoseeeeeeeeeee

  • Your title is a far bigger failure than this landing attempt.

  • Thumbs up - nobody got hurt.

  • haha grappig, er geberud niks!

  • fucking hell!! I swear I had one in melbourne simular a few months ago. He had to touch and go around for another approach. Didn't scrape the wing like that though.

  • HUGE BALLS

  • amazing piloting

  • awesome crash! -.-

  • Where is the crash mate?

  • @Cationification part of the wing came of :) ive saw diffrent vids of this :D

  • it was good the pilot called for a go around or otherwise this plane would have fucking crashed!

  • It's not a misleading title, this is actually video footage of a plane which damage its wing during that landing

  • @RoguezRule98 Hardly a crash

  • @2491cc How would you like a million dollar bill because you have to replace the whole wing, and for that, its quite a crash.

  • @Dominoes282 How would you like to suck my ass?

  • Thumbs down for yet another mistitled vid.

  • DUDE! video should at least have the word NEAR before CRASH...

  • soo....whats happening with the plane...

  • PUKIMA

  • PASSENGER: Hey I can see the end of the runway. Oh wait WHAT?

  • As in the title.......where is the crash ????? Totally misleading title, time waster.

  • right wing was about to touch the ground. thats what i call a pilot

  • @mrInVinCibl3 right wing did actually touch the ground. u can look at pictures

  • jesus christ... this is horrible

  • Bad title!!

  • Extreme crosswind...No more idea then divert to another airport lol. But worth trying to land, isnt it?

  • "Das ging beinah in die Hose." ("That one almost went tits-up." With northern German accent... nice understatement.)

  • Crashed? i dont see any crash dude!

  • It was not a pilot error as some of you said before. The Copilot was pilot flying and did everything very well, but when the gear hit the ground the airbus switched to ground-mode which allow only half aileron deflection. So while touching down, the ailerons went half way back (though the stick was full to the right) and the plane wasn't able to hold against the strong crosswind anymore... Copilot applied TOGA and Captain took over control and saved the plane...

  • @HDsoaring211 so in other words, pilots shouldnt be replaced by electronics. thank fuck boeing has humans controlling there planes...

  • @holdenls1ssz250, Nothing will ever replace a good pilot. Nothing.

  • i can imagine what's it like siting at the windows on the left side and watching the entire runway our of the window as the plane lands... sideways... :D

  • Fucking Pilot should have make a go-around

  • @jhonnybgood90

He DID make a go around. Are you fucking blind, moron?

  • @dynamic717 i think he probably meant during the approach

  • ¡ woooooh ! que pericia del piloto.

  • does wingstrike count as a crash?

  • thats were the years of bush pilot experience comes in hand. btw that runway is wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiide!

  • lol!!! unexpected

  • That is from Germany Hamburg Fuhnsbüttel Airport.Come from HH-Fuhnsbüttel.Habe mir das auch angeschaut an diesen Tag,Danach war auch schluß mit fliegen bzw landen.

  • Fucking retards, all of you are fucking idiots.

  • Should have made the decision to go round earlier or divert, it looks like the weather was on the limit for the aircraft

  • he came in slightly high, should have been on the numbers, but good save.

  • We rain lots of rain

  • Neither a crash nor a landing. Please consult a dictionary.

  • @RaineStudio lol

  • For all we know he did add enough aileron. There was probably a sudden gust of wind or something. And this was not a crash. Had the pilot not reacted the way he did, then yes it probably would have been.

  • The real question should be: Why did the pilot even attempt a landing with such a strong crosswind when a much more suitable runway was available?

  • Amazing piloting skills!

  • its not crashed motherfucker!

  • Not enough opposite aileron when left rudder was applied... SHould have stuck that in the floor!

  • Some extreme Crabbing then a TOGA!

  • how the hell was that a crash???

  • u on shit!!!

  • I give all my respects to that pilot, that cituation you really need amazing skills to handle a aircraft without crashing it (what almost happen but pilot was good enough to prevent crash). I can just imagine what does the passangers feels when the wing touched the ground... i think they shit in their pants

  • Its a female pilot and the go around was perfect!

  • @tubemaster1986 The go-around was perfect because the captained called: "my controls".

  • I think he touched the ground with the wing, maybe that is the "crash"...

  • Look Ma, I can fly sideways!!

  • @Mueiwark I think u should really go tell this to your mum, maybe she will laugh at your outdated stupid jokes.

  • Not been funny, but that wasnt Exactly a crash... bu more like PILOT GENIOUS... The guy flying that is a legend for avoiding a crash... Kudos to him :P

  • "Crashed" ?? - lehustler123 = ATTENTION WHORE

  • so, WHERE is the CRASH?!??!?!?! idiot

  • Comment removed

  • seems like everyone is a pilot here.

  • im only having a bit of fun

  • Hats off to pilot, never saw like that

  • i'd rather be on the ground missing the skies than being up there missing the good old earth

  • pilot MAYDAY MAYDAY

    passengers WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @moebusroblox I've been a passenger for a landing like that. Weeee is not exactly the word we passengers were saying. I don't think that word is allowed on youtube.

  • good thing the pilot had a reserved engine thrust to abort landing....

  • WTF is thiss !! I cant believe

  • comment ce chier dessus en avion

  • Very smart decision do pull up, otherwise they all could have died.

  • What is the max allowable croswind component on a plane like that?

  • if i had to make an educated guess after watching the video and reading the airbus flight operations briefing notes on landing techniques crosswind landings which can be found online. i would say that pilot should not have attempted a landing with more than 5-15kt cross winds.. for which you can plainly see he has WAY OVER that. with all his crab angle and his failed attempt to move to a side slip just feet from touch down. if i were to guess.. your looking at 40+kt cross winds.

  • @XCharger Good call, i would totally agree, want to be my co pilot? ;)

  • for further clarification, the aileron wasn't completely out of function, but had it's maximum working angle decreased due to the changed computer mode. apparently the reduced angle wasn't enough in these conditions.

  • besides, this wasn't the fault of the co pilot, as was speculated - as soon as the gear touched ground, the board computer switched to some kind of "landing" mode and strangled the movement of the aileron.

my explanation is probably not a 100% accurate, but that's what went through german media some time after the incident (more or less)

  • who else thought there was going to be a fireball?

  • that pilot's got some ballzz

  • FAKE!!

  • missaproch

  • whats that smell??

  • A verry good pilot this is verry difficult to land a plane with crosswind and this is a verry good job

  • @luxairboeing Very good job?? She (rumors has it that it was a female pilot) almost wrecked the aircraft and caused a catastrophy, and you're calling this a good pilot?? Maybe she had a bad day, but THIS does not prove she's a good pilot. Definitely NOT!

  • @spiff1003 It has nothing to do with a bad day. Ask to land a plane like this with crosswind of 40-45 knots. I don't think did you are doing it better!!!

  • give a notice if it works hah

  • give the title like ExtremE or LandinG or BaD tiz iz semantic LowpasS NeurolanguistprogrammerS 4 EvenT BioinductioN (;

  • know wd LowpasS iz? or mayby iz da sound of ur crow at shid 4 no badfag

  • bad decision

  • Dont praise him too much, he was lucky, not smart...he did go around but it was a very late decision. that was inches away from disaster

  • Ich liebe den Hamburger Dialekt...

  • change the title u fuckin moron

  • wicked, good pilot decision to go around for take #2

  • i would have peed in my pants if i was on that plane.

  • lol they go around the second time and made a second landing .very good decision .. the pilot actually knew that the wing had hit the ground and he push the trottle up and lift the plane ....and go around to land 10 minute later.. if he land when the wing hit the plane would hit hard

  • The wingtip struck the ground and took a little damage. I'm sure if the Captain knew the wing had damage, he still could have put it down.

  • Late decision for a go around. God helped then..

  • So where's the crash?? I don't know of ANY plane that has crashed that is able to pull up and suddenly fly away after crashing....????

  • I was in Japan before reporting the news fairly.

You are lucky you just touch the blade.

  • M I R A C L E ! ! !

  • Actually in most aviation crashes the airlines actually make money. They are insured in terms of liability (civil) and the aircraft are insured for full replacement value which is typically about double the actual purchase price not including depreciation.

So something like a 767 valued at $140 million (purchased 10 years ago) would have been purchased for less than $60 million at the time but the insurance company would pay the airline whatever it costs to replace it at current market value.

  • The "German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation" pointed out that there had been no mistake of the pilot.

This thing happened because of a heavy windshear which was not expected and some strange behavior of the "Fly By Wire" system, which limited the use of the rudder.

  • pilot didn't anticipate the sudden drop of airspeed in the last 10 meters of altitude

  • i saw a photo of the winglets after he destroyed them, this was completely shit luck for the captain really, however i recon that he paniced on touchdown hence the horrendous bodge job, lucky he didnt take the wing off and flip it.

i would have definately left that plane with brown undwear, cheers for posting.

  • @rudyyoungblood2223 i heard it was a female f/o and then as she bodged it the captain took over and immedialty hit the power and straightened it up and climbed, legend if its true

  • holy shit, props to the pilot for taking it back up, looked like a sure crash!

  • I bet that bieber can't do that.

  • Sometimes crosswind gusts become too unpredictable on final approach, and all you can do abort the landing, go around, and try again (as this pilot obviously did).

  • Title fail.

  • dude no zoom?! wth

  • Stupid pilot. Should've never attempted to land in such conditions. Pilots should land the closest airport(s) when weather conditions does not permit to land. I am a pilot.

  • @nemanjalu mhh she has been a bad ass pilot

  • @nemanjalu it was

  • @nemanjalu It was

  • AHahah he did a good job well done pilot.. that shit aint easy!

  • That was no crash. Almost but he executed a Go-Around.

  • Ohhh I know who is shitting their pants :D

  • Is it possible to land decently an airplane with such conditions? Anyway, great job in aborting the landing!

  • @nemanjalu

well, actually the plane was piloted by a woman. and since she didn't crash the plane and no one got hurt she did a good job

  • this wasn't a crash u dip sh@@. it was a cross wind landing with gusting winds that ended up in a go around nothing new for the pilots.

  • A good pilot is not supposed to land the aircraft every time. He is supposed to know when he should go-around.

    It's exactly what he's doing

  • @nemanjalu you're retarded don't even play like that because when you are on a plane and there is a FEMALE captain who makes a perfect landing i hope you shit yourself in disbelief that a FEMALE could do such things..... jackass

  • All the seat covers to be sent to the laundry.....

  • WTF ! He was foolish !

  • it didnt crash it just was crosswind and a touch AND go

  • Extreme crosswind!!

  • What is wrong with you, dude?? On what basis do you conclude that women don't belong in the cockpit? Did you compare your ATP rating with one? Or did you crap your pants in a Cessna 150?

There are some mighty solid gals flying both military and commercial...with good safety records.

    Grow up, son

  • does the pilot have to pay for the plane if he crashes it?

  • lolllllll nooo

  • @lehustler123 actually from what i know....depending on the airline and the company they have insured it......if he survives and its proved that it was his fault then yes...they can take him to court! if not the company then the families will definitely

  • @riptor01 ah ya ! I didn't know that .

    Thx for the information

  • @riptor01 Only if the accident is severe enough and kills people and its clearly his fault the pilot will be brought to court..otherwise he will just be dismissed and the company claims insurance. Thats what according to Garuda.

  • @riptor01

You said that if the airline doesn't sue him, then the families would. HUH? The families of who? Dead passengers? If the passengers are dead, I'm sure the pilot would be too.

Okay, let's assume, the passengers died. The families would sue the airlines who would in turn sue the pilot, if that's what the airline would do. It would be stupid to think the families would sue a pilot who makes near poverty level, when they can go after the airline who has millions.

It would be stupid to think the families would sue a pilot who makes very little, when they can go after the airline who has millions.

  • @jrusso7660 yes! if all die then and it turns out that it was the pilots fault then yes the families would sue the company since the pilot was under contract and so on! if for some reason now there is a accident without any deaths or some minor and again it turns out that it was the pilots fault the families would sue the company but the company would deny any accusation since they have "trained" the pilots and are qualified and they would say they had nothing to do with that! think about it :)

  • @riptor01 bullshit :)

  • @ATHGT ok!! thnx for making ur pont! if u know smth more....plz tell us!

  • @riptor01 np, anytime :)

  • Unlike cars..planes no.are you crazy man you think plane is a car?lol yes it is but it doesn't have to pay dude :)

  • @syafiqpilot lol yea but they cost a ton of money so i didnt really know. I know that they couldnt pay 100%

  • lol no

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 Yes, he does, with bruises and in worst case with his life.

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 haha what kind of ? is that, how old are you...Let me tell you something.if that Planed Crashed then the likely hood of anyone making it out alive is sad too say unlikely

So id say he would not be around too too pay for anything..

  • @eastcoast78 "if that planed crashed" learn english dumbass

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 LOL is that the best you can come back with Punk...One little typo.....Now i know why you asked suck a stupid Question...

  • @eastcoast78 enough with your lame comebacks fag

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 Only with his job, or worse - his life.

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 In the Military yes, If he survived and was found as Pilot error

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 No, comes out of the airlines pocket. Odds are the pilot wouldn't live through an airline crash anyways.

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1 Lool are u stupid of course noo why the hell should he do that xD

  • @hugeSLIPKNOTfan1

No..but he will probably never fly again commercially.

  • @murpet1988 He/She still flying

  • @lehustler123

Not this pilot, it was to the question what happens if you deck a plane into the runway and actually crash it (Y)

  • @lehustler123 how do you know that?

  • @murpet1988 how and why?

  • @Bekiz100

Unless it was bad luck and you had full Engine Failure or some sort of systems failure the Captain is liable.

Unless it was deamed the Aircraft was damaged in Flight, (which, you may of been the cause of..) and therefore unable to land safely they assume you made a mistake and the crash was your fault.

I know two pilots who stalled a 737 on Final Approach into Bournemouth EGHH and lost their jobs for it!

  • @murpet1988 No you are wrong, The pilot done a very good job with this crosswind and it wasnt their fault so they will be still flying
