I commented earlier on the ROK army when I was in Korea for Team Spirit '78, I was an Infantry Soldier, was very impressed to see the training of the ROK soldier in Pusan, I spent four years in the Army, later I joined the USAF Special Operations 1st Special Operations Wing, I worked on MC-130E Combat Talons, and AC-130 Spectre Gunships, I retired from the Air Force, what I'm getting at is I love the Military and am a student of History, My Dad fought in the Phillipines in WW11, ROK RULES.

But thats pretty normal for allied countries especially and country we are stationed in to specifically deter North Korea if they ever invade. They do have an armistice there is no formal end to the korean war just a "cease-fire"
