Alang (Gujarat) India is now famous for Ships related mementos and products. Every year thousands of giant ships coming for breaking and what an Indian technology, One big giant ship demolish in only 6-7 days in the partly.
Many thanks for posting this video. Great Job. Been wanting to know about ship decommissioning for a while now. Do you know how many tons this ship is in the video?
How many days it took to break apart the ship?
How many people in total worked on the ship?
How many hours a day?
I would love to know the answers to these questions
I would love to be able to board those condemned vessels and get the valuable stuff off of them. The builder's brass name plate, compass, barometer, and various other scientific gear could be sold on Ebay for big bucks. These shipping companies don't use cheap shit on their vessels either, so anything you find will probably be professional quality gear. Even the old stuff.
@Lex5576, on the other hand you'd have to pay for everything you take. I recall reading somewhere that when some people wanted to save just some documents from a ship that was about to get scrapped, the price was... a bit high for just a bunch of papers.

video is good but need some editing. if possible add some music to the video. i think the ship is oil independence.
