80 years old. I've been teaching there for the last 10 of those. The other science teacher is in the third generation of LHS graduates - and her two sons are the fourth - that have walked, laughed, loved, and learned in those halls.

My Dad and Mom, several of uncles and aunts, as well as brothers and sister, and myself all graduated at LHS. Lots fo history in that lovley old school. What a sad night! My son helped to fight this senseless fire... we are so lucky that none of the firemen where hurt or killed while fighting the fire.

This is so hard to believe! So many people have so many memories with this school. I for one didn't get to graduate from this school because I moved in the 8th grade. My grandparents (Nina & Dan Teuton), Aunt (Rhea Offutt Stansell), Father (Bruce Williams) & Brother (Tony Williams) all graduated from this high school. So many people are left with nothing now. Just keep your heads up though and know that you are all in my prayers!
