  • It is shows like this, and this was my favorite of all as a kid, that determined me to be a writer of strange and compelling tales. I have written 50 books since I was a kid growing up on this kind of TV. = Robert W. Walker

  • Why cant they make shows like this today ??? is all Crap on Tv--i dont have Cable and wouldnt want it for free !!

  • im addicted to this episode--feel like im in it haha

  • As a child i use this watch programs late at nite and as a wounded vetnam vet nothng really scares me more than the music of "One Step Beyond" and the stories behind them.

I was more scare of this musice and stories than the Viet Cong at times...its as odd as the music is called and name..."Weird" its called...why do i have chills even today?????

  • if it was an OBE it would be incredible to have an interactive one for a long period of time.

  • could it be a doppleganger?

  • My Name Actually Is Mitchell Campion. Ha.

  • Sounds like a different form of astral projection, perhaps.

  • Another intriguing episode, all explained in the last couple of minutes. Good stuff.

  • interesting. i think may be some ppl have friends among poltergeists usually without knowing, these ghosts do live 1000s of years and when their friends from humans who have such short lives, leave they act out as if they are them and start to appear as them!

that is the only explanation that makes sense to me and have seen happen before.

poltergeists can shape as anything or anyone and ppl think of them as ghosts.

human spirit may make contact but R not permitted to come back & haunt.

  • this one was not as good as the other ones i have seen, but still good! these are qaulity shows that I am shocked to find are not at all popular, have they been hidden in a vault somewhere, we should have been watching them, if you have watched them before on television...please let me know how long ago and if there was a reason they never show these as reruns!!!

  • I lived in the Chicago area, and remember these playing when I was 11 years old. We had a console TV with a really small screen. As children, we didn't watch much television because there was very little children's programming. These shows were on in the evening. I also remember Jack Benny on tv, and several others. Reality tv of today doesn't interest me. Long ago, if a show didn't have a written storyline, it was a variety show.

  • I agree - this series is really great. Very well acted, well scripted and with that errie music........

And when you consider this series is about 50 years old, then it's stood the test of time very well and doesn't seem outdated.

When I was a kid, I used to watch the "Twilight Zone" and "The Outer Limits" on TV, but I'd never heard of this show.

So I'm glad that it's on YouTube now.

But as you say, a high quality show like this, really should be on TV reruns.
