  • Hi,

does anyone know who sings the music 'Velvet Waters' to this video. It doesn't sound at all like Tony Worsley.

    Thanks

  • The band "Manaia", a Maori Band from New Zealand sing the song. The band members are Joe Haami, Selwyn Rawiri and Richard Tate who are also members of the "Maori Volcanics" Show band

  • Thank you very much. A friend dances to this song.

  • I've already left a comment on this Video. Am I able to get a copy of the music please?? Went to a Ball in Canberra and this dance was on the list. Excellent. Love it.

  • Hello Ladies, We brought this dance back to Australia last October after our own workshops over there at Methven and Balclutha and have taught it all over the place. We love it! One thing though, our ending is slightly different.... did you change it a bit? Jan Wyllie, Hervey Bay, Qld Australia

  • Beautiful Dancing from New Zealand. This Dance won the BEST NEW ZEALAND for 2007 in THE BEAT AWARDS. Great work Dale and Philippa and group. Jennifer Far North NZ

  • I stumbled across your vid. looking for a recording of Velvet Waters. I love this, its brought a smile to the face to hear a golden oldie song with some smart stepping. I'm living in UK at mo, not a rellie or from Masterton, your vid made me think fondly of NZ/Aotearoa and my line dancing aunties.
