I remember watching this back in 1995. In the outro to the show, Jools Holland refers to Ben Folds as a "pianist", and Ben nods in appreciation of the great compliment this is, coming from Jools, who is an amazing pianist himself.

@pwj2113 Well for TV spots, most artists have to lip-sync, the show won't let them do otherwise. That's why you have bands like Blur, Muse, and Public Image LTD who mess around with that and switch band members, or make it obvious they aren't playing.

Sweet stuff. i love everything except for his voice. It's in tune and everything, just a little... nasally or something. But I would still listen to this all day. Piano playing is great, some of those bass lines kicked a**, and the drummer definitely knows what he is doing. Sweet stuff.

they broke up cuz their album "the unauthourized biography of reinhold messner" was a flop. sadly enough it was my favorite album by them. the next year (2000) ben folds came out with his first solo album. i saw him back in march and was AMAZING. but i miss BFF too lol
