I am a Christian and I want marijuana legalized as well. It is stupid that it is illegal. So many worse things in the USA that are legal. Some Christians say it is unnecessary because we have other pain killers and such. But those cause addictions and withdraw and cause craziness. Cannibus does not. No withdraw and no carcinegens. I have been studying this so much I'm almost tempted to grow it for my brother who is addicted to pain killers. It sucks really bad. I dont use, but he needs it !!
@jiggly566 Your welcome Jiggly. Being logical and Christian are not mutually exclusive, no matter what the people who appear on Fox News might have you believe :)
Marijuana is a gift from God. Satan hates Marijuana and is trying to undermine its blessings by spreading lies! Jesus used Marijuana as part of his Holy Anointing Oil.

I dont know what makes a conservative... but I'm a Christian and have been so most of my life...But I smoke daily and read my Bible! I hate alcohol!! I totally agree Bro! God made weed! Man made booze-booze kills & weed brings life! I will die before I denounce my faith and I enjoy spending time in the Word of God(stoned and sober) Just my 2 cents...
God gave us choice and free will, christian conservatives believe they know what is best for the rest of us, how we should live, what we should think and what we can and can't do with our bodies. They believe we must all be saved from what they perceive to be a sin even if it's through legislating their morality and the constitution be damned.
Liberty and freedoms outlined in the constitution are to protect religion and protect us from religion.
I agree with some of your comments. The problem with legistlating morality is the hypocrisy involved, let alone the constitutionality. The Christian right would love to legistlate sexual morality and drug morality but when it comes to economic morality and other morals that would cut into the pocketbook, they are silent.
I don't believe that most churches should be taxed but if you use your church as a political front or if you get rich off the donations of the flock, you should be taxed
While I disagree on some of the things you are saying, you raise some very valid points on this issue. I like the idea of a "sin tax", as long as the tax is not used for greedy purposes, becoming a sin in itself. What needs to be tackled is the underlying issue of dependency. People are "dependent" on things, and it is up to us as warriors for God to break these dependencies through our prayer.
Thank you I believe that as long as there is accountability and you know where your taxes are going, I have no problem with a sin tax or other taxation, The problem is we don't know where the money is going. I want my taxes to go to help the poor, feed the hungry, help people in terrible circumastances get a leg up, I don't want them going to make Burecrats and their lobyists rich.
Prayer does wonders on that we agree. We are here to do God's work on Earth
