@agogi0810 only americans have problem with the R. Which I can't understand... It seems like the English language doesn't revolve around a lot of different sounds, as they have problems with pronouncing a lot of things in other languages. My first language is Norwegian, and I've so far not encountered a language where I can not pronounce something if I really try. I tried to make Americans pronounce the "rolling" R as they call it, and it's almost impossible!

español is easy for us french speakers to learn cause it's basically the same language with 'o' or 'a' at the end of words but when I'm trying to read comments in spanish I always get really tired. So I would like a spanish lesson for French people, if anyone here's motivated ..

also it's worth mentioning that "good evening" and "good night" are GREETINGS in Spanish, but in English they are actually used as synonyms for "good bye" rather than "hello".

also worth mentioning is that Spanish people don't consider it rude to acknowledge someone, when they are in a hurry, with "Adios". In English we would consider it VERY rude to say Good Bye before saying Hello.

"¿Que tal?" is somewhat a rethorical question. At least in Colombia, the person you're talking to usually continues with something like "¿Como estas?" (totally ignore '¿Que tal?'). In my country, if you're talking to a friend, you can say '¿Hola, que mas?" which is like "Hey what's up?". ¿Que pasa?, like, some others have said, in L. America is interpreted as "What's going on?" It's said in a negative situation.

¿Qué pasa? es más usado cuando algo malo ha pasado, o cuando ves a alguien trsite. enojado. Otra forma es el ¿Qué te pasa? También cuando algo malo ha pasado, pero también como una pregunta exclamatoria; por ejemplo, alguien te ha pegado o le ha pedago a alguien más y le dices: "¡¿Qué te pasa?!"

Como dicen abajo también está el ¿Qué onda? pero eso es muy informal. Úsalo con tus amigos y o gente muy cercana a ti.

@tontitofrito En español de España se suele usar el ''¡¿Qué pasa?!'' como un saludo informal, también se usa para cuando crees que le pasa algo a alguien, pero entonces cambias de tonalidad, en vez de un ''qué pasa'' tipo ''What's up?'' se usa un ''qué pasa'' tipo ''What happened?''.

Y el ''¡¿Qué onda?'' en España no se utiliza, si lo usas, pensarán que vas a usar expresiones extranjeras (durazno, polera...)

Es verdad en lo que se dice por acá. Existen expresiones que no hacen referencia explícita a cierta definición. Pero según quien y donde se la mencione, se entiende la insinuación.

Por ejemplo, en Argentina, solemos reemplazar el "¿Qué pasa?" por un "¿Qué onda?".

Definitely the only video that I think is suitable for normal human beings to learn 'cause some of them are a little too basic and not up to my level of understanding. plus, the visuals are a lot of help. It's not enough to just say the english word and the spanish translation after it, you still need more clarification for the way they are conjugated.
