Neil Levang, from Adams, ND, plays a Gibson 12-string guitar (same model David Cassidy played on the first season [1970-71] on "The Partridge Family"), and Buddy Merrill, from Caineville, UT (Mr. Welk said Caine, UT) picks on an Epiphone Emperor guitar. I bet that although many kids probably complained about watching the Lawrence Welk Show with their parents, their faces lit up when Buddy and/or Neil played a guitar solo. EXCELLENT!
Great Stuff - both Neil and Buddy are the great unsung Heros of Guitars. Note that Neil and Buddy used different fingering to play the melody line - unique !!
