  • hey, could you please upload more videos of this performance? or is there any other way how to get that? it's totally awesome

  • Fevers and Mirrors is such a fantastic album. Does anyone know what album The Joy in Forgetting/The Joy in Acceptance is from?

  • "The Joy In Forgetting / The Joy In Acceptance"

  • Its from one of the intour sound support cd, sold on early tours, I'm pretty sure it was recorded at a similar time to oh holy fools...

And fevers is good, I prefer letting off the happiness though :)

  • It's The Joy In Discovery and it's from Fevers and Mirrors

  • @cambodiadk123 It's from the japanese version of Fevers and Mirrors. Other additional songs on that version are "Jetsabel removes the Undesireables".

  • Reminiscent of Elliott Smith. The whole one guy with a chair thing.

  • Ok. One nervous fucker with a sad song and dirty hair on a massive stage playing a stripped down version of his song. He even tunes his song at the end.

So, no, it's the WHOLE thing, not just the chair, smartass.

  • That's the spirit!

  • wish you were this nervous fucker with this dirty hair!!but it takes lots of talent so keep wishing :)

  • i would be happy if i only had half of his talent.

  • Love this song sooo much.

  • this looks like it's from the fall 2001 tour. just him and his guitar. he played at the carrboro arts center and it looked like this setup. in fact, it might be carrboro since he was wearing the same clothes at the show. his nephew came on stage a few times. he'd be 21 in this.

  • indeed it was that show.

  • awesome. i was front and center for that show. the first three bright eyes shows i went to, i was front and center. i gave him the pics with him and his nephew at the next show he played in chapel hill. i hope he kept them.

  • .....

  • stfu dragonforce is the gayest thing since

    yu-gi-ho

  • he is so amazing.

  • This song is one of my top 5 favourite Bright eyes songs.

  • i just love his voice. he has something ..

  • He plays real music. That is kinda hard to find XD

  • Yeh not that shit thats always in the chart. This music has heart

  • How old is he here??

  • He's probably about 19 or 20

  • umm noo hes not homie

    u trippin hes 28

  • This album was released in 2000 and recorded in 1999.

This video was posted in 2006.

    He was born in 1980.

He could have been anywhere between 19 and 26 when this video was recorded.

I'm pretty sure his age when the video was taken is what Acmed was referencing.

    nice try tho...

  • oooohhhh i thought they ment like now!

    hes 28 now!

  • hes 28

  • aww he doesn't do the "YUP!" part lol
