I just got mine 2 days ago and I HATE them. I have huge holes in my cheeks and the wax doesn't even help wwwaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!! Getting braces doesn't really hurt, it just feels like there's pressure on them, it hurts when u try and bite into something, bt that's NOTHING compared to spacers. Those hurt SOO bad ):

@23lovecandy yes, it does hurt when you first get your braces on, but only for the first week to week and a half. Mainly you're going to have to eat hella soft foods or liquids like yogurt or soup. The pain for me was bad enough that I couldn't bite into a grape, I had to cut each grape into 8ths so I could eat them

when generic toothpastes have a claim that says "whitens teeth", they usually mean "makes teeth appear whiter by removing surface stains". they don't actually whiten unless they have some kind of peroxide ingredient. the only generic toothpastes i know of that has peroxide is arm and hammer.....colgate and crest DON'T actually whiten as they claim...
