I didn't realize there were two other composers for FFX. I looked it up just now, but it's great Hamauzu got in on this because he did amazing work on Saga Frontier 2
hold up, so who is the real creator of this song? nobuo uematsu, or masashi hamauzu? In final fantasy X, nobuo was the composer, but who wrote it in the first place??? :l im confused.
@QwertyasdfAres FFX's soundtrack was composed by Nobuo Uematsu, Masashi Hamauzu, and Junya Nakano. All 3 of them did many songs. This particular song is done by Masashi Hamauzu.
@QwertyasdfAres There was a second album released called "DIRGE of CERBERUS -FINAL FANTASY VII- MULTIPLAYER MODE Original Sound Collections" that has Pegasus Riders, as well as a ton of other songs that didn't make the first album. I'd hunt it down - I got mine from gamemp3s.net a few years back.
Gasp! HAve you transcribed or simply attempted to play it by ear sir? =O. The piano intro is beautiful and not too difficult but after the intro, the pianist rarely has the need to use both of his hands at a time. The poor cello and violin tho!!! The violinist has to play really high and that cellist (and violist maybe) has to deal with all that syncopation going on in the bass! Truly a brilliant arrangement, I prefer it to the original! However, a solo piano arrangement wud be tough -_-

For the record, this German title ("Jenseits der Finsternis") means "Beyond the Darkness."

@sUnnydUcks123 Hamauzu composed this in FFX, as well. Not sure where you got your MP3 tags from, but this was one of Hamauzu's.
