He's exactly right. I was there and the police provoke the problems. I am an elderly white woman, and he is saying the truth. There is not a problem with the system, the problem IS the system. It has to end. It's gone on too long. Too many people have suffered for no reason.

If a white guy is arrested and he has drugs on him they say oh he's experimenting with drugs and he gets counseling and help. If your American of color or a black man who has drugs on you or in your car you are using or in possession of a illegal substance or a drug dealer. And your going to jail no help no counseling. Unbelievable its time for change.

I am shocked at the success of the protest. I mean, a crooked cop actually going to jail for his wrong doing is amazing. good job Oakland and keep it up. I am truly surprised at this action to arrest a cop. I didn't think justice would be served. This hole incident show you the true power of the people, it's awesome.
