First you must finish the game. Then you can catch one of them. You can choose witch one. Then you must finish the national dex ( or something ) for the other one /

OLOL, i caught rayquaza lvl 70 full hp in one ultra ball XD

but there's a whole story behind it

when i was ready to go to the sky pillar, i needed to wait for my friend to give me a master ball, becuz he had emerald so he could clone.

but i coudnt wait so i just went to it, saved before the sky pillar and went up.

at rayquaza, the first 4 times it didnt work :(

so i needed to do the sky pillar 5 times over agian (yeah, i had nothing to do), and on the 5th time.

I used my master ball the minute I engaged against Giratina. For dialga/palkia, I used a total of around 9dusk balls combined to catch them both

you probably wont believe me when i say this but i caught giratina with 2 pokeballs, dialga with 5 pokeballs and palkia with 1 pokeball and i was using the new dsi and as we all know the ar doesn't work with the new ds.

Regigigas, Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit, Cresselia, Giratina, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Zapdos, Articuno, Moltres. Also the three Regi's can be obtained if you have the movie Regigigas, plus also Arceus, Darkrai and Shaymin for the events pokemon. If i've left any out can someone add them on please.

I had a master ball but I used it for Giratina. Giratina would go inside any pokeball so I gave up and used the master ball.

Yep Giratina is the one I'd use it on, it's extremely hard to get, unless your super duper lucky.

I used my master ball on giratina and used quick balls to catch the birds, mesprit and cresselia (well dusk ball on mesprit, pokeball on articuno and ultra ball oin cresselia) Moltres was extremely hard for me to catch and was my last runner. I could have caught giratina in a normal pokeball except i only had 2 greats and 3 normals...lol

I think that's a good way to go, Giratina is the hardest to catch I feel even though it isn't the highest leveled.

I also found the palkia-dialga bunch easy to catch, getting them both in the second pokeball i threw-both being pokeballs

Yep, they've got the same catch rate (30) as a Chatot and a Chansey.

Don't know. I never use Masterballs I also like to catch them and feel so proud that I caught all the legends without using my masterball.

Dont use the masterballs, keep them as a prize.

what you should do is weaken the pokemon, try and use paralysis/sleep etc. then just throw ultraballs at it(duskball if in a cave), dont stop until you catch them.

Save the game before you fight a legendary, so if you kill it you can turn it off.

Luck of the draw I guess, sometimes they work sometimes they don't but normally Dialga should be easier to catch than Giratina.

the reason that you caught palkia with only one dusk ball is because both palkia and dialga have an unusually high capture rate, they actually have the same capture rate as a stupid chatot

Yes I release that, they have a catch rate of 30, which means that they are 10 times easier to catch than say Giratina. Who has a catch rate of 3. I believe they may be the only two legendaries who don't have a catch rate of 3.
