Iranians have always referred to their homeland as "IRAN". This is obvious in mass of IRANIAN literature such as Ferdosi's masterpiece the magnificient "Shahnameh", the Pahlavi sources, and so forth.
However, IRAN is referred to as Persia in most non-Iranian text such as the bible. The terms IRAN and Persia refer to the same noble nation and people.

LOR people are some people who are living in some provinces in IRAN .for example fars/ kohgiloye va boyerahmad/chaharmahal va bakhtiari and lorestan. they speak LORI not Kurdish.
